I had a campaign last month to pad up gals in Kawangware, I targeted 1000pads, a pad @50 ksh, yes the campaign ended but I would appreciate if you come through Wajesus I'll appreciate alot.

When I first began my periods I used to roll for 7days heavy flow such that even with pads it used to overflow Kwa bedding and it used to bother me alot. Thanks to my mom she took me through that journey. She would wake me up when she thinks I should change my pad cos I was a heavy sleeper. Thanks Millie for this
I thank God my hubby is a doc and he understands it even better than me. He has never discriminated me in any way. Nikimtuma pads analeta. I thank God for him. Happy menstural hygiene to every lady.

I had a classmate whose periods really embarrassed her. Sometimes am thankful I have pain during my first four-five hours of period. The lady used to standup for breaks and voila, blood all over. Our chairs were metallic so you could see a ‘tiny pool of blood’.

What happens is in primary when teaching about menstrual hygiene we call the girls aside and teach them how it is i wish we could bring both the boys and girls at the same time and teach them both that way we would make it easy .......
The easier way of donating pads is having a set target eg 1 million The WaJesus Family Drop a Pad Campaign targeting the underprivileged rural and slum school kids eg. in Kisumu for starters. We can raise these pads in a week targeting both individuals and corporates. We can target the reusable sanitary pads too for extreme rural environments. I am not Kenyan but i am willing to help with the logistics . One Africa...
As we celebrate this let's remember the ones who are struggling with hormonal imbalance and heavy flows those of us who throw away a bunch of panties away every month stay indoors because even if we use tampons and pads at the same time we still have flows that will mess us up and make us develop this crazy acne on our faces. To us 🥂 we shall be well

Thanks for the awareness Milly ..on my period days in high school I just spent them in the sick bay ..didnt attend lessons for all those days ..it used to affect me a lot during exam time and really caused me so much embarrassment...but with time the pains subsided as I grew older😀right now am 24 and i rarely experience extreme menstrual pain ...sometimes I don't even notice am rolling 😍...to all ladies out there ..you are strong and amazing 😇

Aki I had a very bad experience... I experienced it when I was in form one ..but it was on a holiday ..was at home n I didn't know what to do..I feared my parents so much ..n not that they were not able to buy..so I remember I cried n inform my friend about it....she told me that she uses a blanket ..n I did the same...so I used to use blankets in fear of informing my parents until my elder sis found out n thought me how to use pads ...so my point is many girls out there r suffering n using blankets...
