Strange choice of artists. I don't know if the organizers knows the difference between singer and performer. Eternal songs like opera's can only live through specials voices. Pavarotti is the interpreter of timeless works because their voice, their techniques allow them to such an honor. This evening is an insult to Warda as were the previous evenings I await the evening of Fayza Ahmed. We're going to have fun because performing fayza is a great exercise. I know who can do it.
That said, Mr. Turki you are an exceptional man, and your initiative is politically commendable but an artistic calamity. I would be willing if you would listen to the demanding critics and not the thuriferaires. Consideration.
