It was clear (by age) that the original singer was most likely Regine. And it was thanks to the reactions to her performance that I learned that for the first time this wonderful song was sung by a completely different person. And how he sang! With Regine, I always felt some kind of tension (although I will probably be corrected that this is her interpretation of the song), with Regine, I have never felt such lightness and closeness to the listener as you, dear Nonoy Zuniga. In your performance, this song becomes so simple that I can afford to sing it without knowing the words and not understanding the lyrics, because your emotions are close and understandable to me. It was an accident actually, while I was searching YT for the song, I saw an old video from Ryan Ryan Musikahan where Isay Alvarez sang with Ryan accompanying her on the Piano, and the title is ARAW-GABI (Nonoy Zuniga Cover) 😃 Isay sang it like Nonoy did, light and happy.
