i love arachne! i always use her for the lock stunn! on web and mobile too!
I'm looking forward to the event. I've been waiting to get 4 soul stones to get Arachne to the next level for quite sometime. She's helped me with some of the tougher enemies in the campaign.
I like the two types of stuns. She can hit the front line with one and will often (not always) stun the back line with the hyper jump. Magic penetration artifact and vapirism stat are also nice.
One thing I really like about Arachne is, that she is a cheap hero. Only need gold, exp and "violet" to get going. I use her for Osh, when is below 20% hp.

I always liked Arachne, and I found her to be a pretty effective counter to Corvus. In the arena, she kept him stunned and prevented him from using his Altar, which is a huge part of my undead team's damage.
I loved Arachne at the beginning...
I recognized the stun lock potential of Arachne early on and chose to level her up as a support for my main team for adventures that had problematic heroes using their specials.
I am really looking forward to this event. It's hard to get Arachne's soul stone. She used to be on my main team because of her stunning ability but I also need to replace her later on with heroes who are easier to get soul stones.
ive used arachne in my main team ever since i started playing and am glad i fell for the noob trap, she fits nicely with my undead team

I got arachne in my main team for now. Might change it up later, but good to see she will be usefull as a swap-in hero later on.

@@eugenetswong so far a wierd bunch: Asteroth, Celeste Maya, Arachne, and Judge. I am also levelling Sebastian, nebula and Keira now to make a psychical team to replace the last 3.
Arachne was the first hero I got to absolute star in the newbie event
These events, I generally get what I get by playing normally, and save the dolls to open in an event with soul stone targets
I am building up my Mara, to be a pet for Arachne. The bonus duration for stuns is just awesome.
I thought you were going to mention that if you use cleaver or lars with her you can stun the whole team instead of just the frontline
That's good thinking. You can get similar results with Dante and Arachne.

Arachne surprises plenty on my Grand Arena setup.
Mine is currently 50/150 (i.e., just 4-star), so I doubt I get enough stones from the coming event.
Good info (this and Live Stream) today.
The only reason I used Arachne back then was before I have an effective way to counter Yasmine, Arachne could hyper jump her and at least stun her till my tank busters (Qing Mao and Astrid / Lucas) get through the tank to get Yasmine. Once I levelled up Helios later on I just left Arachne alone.
An Astrid-Arachne team works well in the tower; at least in the early game. Astrid ults, which pushes Astaroth back, which might open up Yasmine. Arachne could stun Yasmine making it easier for Astrid to deal damage.
Lucas's push back is better than Dante's in 1 respect: the tank, or whatever first enemy, won't try to retake the earlier position. With Dante, the enemies get pushed back so far, that they end up walking all the way forward.
@@eugenetswong Yes, Lucas is a perpetual tank in the tower as the rage remains between levels, along with the armor artifact and armor penetration glyph. Galahad with Vampirism (so he lives a long time) also works well before Astaroth is strong enough to tank and other healers (Thea most likely) are strong enough to heal early game in the tower.

Arachne, toyed with her early on, however she turned out to be not for me. The idea of using her with Luther and other controls in a "no you don't" team appeals. But that is way into the future.

Considering all the Issac spam that tells me she's not worth the investment. On my server I don't see many teams especially in arena that doesn't run Issac.
Late to the comments but I use Arachne with Faceless, Karkh, and Cleaver sometimes. Tons of stuns and skills group the enemy which increase your stun and damage.
i saw loads of people saying she was a noob trap when i started to didnt level her, but now i regret it i wish i had

Good video, I havent thought about arachne till now. Would want to do more max test before leveling her up.

Me, too. I play on a few servers, and have experimented on several more. On almost all of the servers, I use Arachne.
Which other heroes do you use?
@@eugenetswong astaroth .. keira.. qing mao.. helios.. i rarely had to put a healer in durring the tower for one battle to heal them .. and for a long time could complete it with only using 1 well timed keira ult every battle or every other to charge it because arachne would help with some healing
@@whitefreeman5798 Was your Kiera at Orange +3 rank or lower, and still able to do this?
That single well timed ult is what I do, too.
It's cools that you can do that with Helios, but that does increase the teams damage output, which fine. It's just I think that it is worth finding out what the lowest powered effective team is.
@@eugenetswong yes i did not achieve orange +4 with any until after i made 130 and astaroth was first .. i had been able to use that tactic since at least 120 and well before orange +3.. i dont keep statistics though and only play for fun.. i have made many mistakes and am sure i will continue to do so.. my keira is now the only other that is +4.. i would have been +4 or more with them all long ago but i was spreading things out too much among other heros.. i am starting to figure things out better now though
@@whitefreeman5798 Spreading the resources out among well chosen heroes might be a good thing. Some heroes might good against specific enemies, so only a certain amount of levelling might be fine.

Regarding Kai on Karkh teams, what do you think is necessary to evolve (skins/glyphs) to be effective in a Karkh team?

Interesting info, I used to pump up Arachne at the start of the game but I slowly realized that its using too much resources and not as effective overall so I stopped. But still good to know more about her :)
Yep, Arachne is great for the stunning. Often at the core of a control team. I even see her used as a tank.

I didn’t play enough when I started to full star her. I use trophies to improve totems, so this is a welcomed event to finish off Arachne.
Just started building Arachne
never played Arachne - then again when I started the game I activated her and didn't log back in till a week later before I decided to play the game.
I use Arachne a lot. Her stuns give my damage dealers time to easily do their jobs.
Just got Jhu to 6*, so Arachne is next. Great timing on an event hero! 😀

Wish she was more helpful in the raid, but Arachne is fantastic in the campaign. Paired with Galahad and/or Qing Mao, she can stun the entire enemy lineup once the front line gets pushed into the back line.
Are you talking about the Asgard raid? Somebody mentioned that she gets more damage, when the boss is at below 20% health. Maybe try that, and see if she improves.

What good is Arachne if her stunt (against the boss at the end of a campaign chapter) lasts for only 0.5 seconds? I used her for Jarl's Estate (final battle in chapter 12 campaign), and that's what happened to me!

I've been considering Arachne. I got her somewhat leveled up, but left her behind. Now, I see soem players using her effectively.

Arachne is also really good against some adventure and campaign bosses if you use her ultimate at the right time.

Not a big fan of Arachne, but maybe I should reconsider. I might be able to ult-star her in this event, I'm at 5 stars already, even though I haven't been trying to put anything into her. I would rather have Astrid, though, as usual, I'm jealous of the Mobile events...

My 3 star Arachne needs some love.
Arachne is worth leveling, yes she is a niche hero but so are like half of the others. In the right lineup she is a beast and in the wrong one like many other hero's she's useless. Very few hero's are one size fits all auto includes.
Hi Charlie, I want to ask question: How can I move forward from a Bronze league to Silver League and Silver to Gold.
You have to pay to do well in the dungeon. Do you gather titanite?

Her rework makes her an archdemon nemesis. Combine her with pheobos and you can render the archdemon useless.

does stun stack? for eg. green+gray ability at the same time will get to 7 sec.
They do not stack.
I've had trouble with Arachne stunning Bob over and over and over ........ It's frustrating.
