Wayfinder | A Shift In Direction Of The Game | Echoes Update

Let me know what your thoughts are about the shift in direction from mmo to singleplayer coop arpg.
This will not stop me from covering this game as I am committed to the game and will continue to make videos once this update goes live for founders.
If the change in direction upsets you; do not take it out on me or any other content creator or devs. This in just the hand they were delt and them trying to give us a product when the game was most likey going to shut down.

I hoped Wayfinder to become my MMO-ish home for a while, even dragged in a couple of friends with me (thank god they didn't stay, it'd be embarrassing). But as soon as Solid said "the new version will be yours forever", it was clear to me that it's turning single-player. So the disappointment phase has already passed by now. I guess I'll try it just to see what they've been cooking all this time, but I view it as my investment successfully wasted. Especially them clearly stating they plan to take the money from WF sales and use it for future projects. But I guess it makes sense as far as their interests go.

im actually kinda hyped again. lost hype a couple months ago, but this is kinda exciting.

It will suck not seeing people out in the world or doing world bosses, but this is probably the best direction for the game.

the game wasn't sustainable as an mmo so i think this change is great

I agree. As much as I would have liked for the game to still keep it's MMO features; reality is Id rather still be able to have the world of Wayfinder that I can enjoy for years to come even if it's single player

I want Aiship Syndicate to succeed instead of a billion dollar corporation dominating everything
