I think major reason for train timings to be like this is since it is better for office timings or official meetings scheduled at Delhi so that they can have more chances of boarding vande bharat
Timing of this train is more comfortable for business and daily travellor person , not accordingly for tourism people .As people from jaipur and alwar goes to delhi in morning for business and meeting and other stuff on daily basis and come back to home in night .That is why other train like shatabdi and double decker on this route have similar timing ,in morning towards delhi and in night towards alwar and jaipur .

thanks for presenting the commercial journey to Ajmer. For passengers it's an additional option to choose . In order to achieve speed, our infrastructure need to be upgraded and I'm sure our IR would take right steps in time. Reason of current timings is that daily office going from ajmer or jaipur to delhi can get to their office on time and return on same after their working hours.

Delhiites would be delighted to visit Ajmer and Jaipur by this newly launched Vande Bharat Express train.
The early morning departure from Ajmer and evening departure from Delhi makes more sense for people who live in Ajmer but come to Delhi for some work over the day. But yes the timings don't make sense for tourists going from Delhi to Ajmer but I think these trains are targeted more for the business people rather than tourists.

For Ajmer.. we have Jan Shatabdi which starts around 4pm from Delhi. It takes equal time as VB but the route is different.

This train is mainly for Jaipur as Jaipur fills almost 90% of all its passengers. It is Blockbuster between Jaipur and Delhi and Super Duper Disaster between Jaipur and Ajmer. Great KRK also agree with this.

It's timings are according to Jaipur passengers and Ajmer is only a parking yard for this train as Jaipur doesn't have enough space to park trains

7:14 there is also a small catch dolesh bhai shatabdi New Delhi Tak jati hai and ye bas Delhi cantt. To agr same distance man dono ko count krenge to koi khas frk aayega nahi timing ka.
Chances are high in future it's timing will be early morning from Jaipur near to Jaipur double decker and double decker will be departing after this so that it can catch up the working class and business professional travelling between jaipur to delhi. Railways know ultimately it is the game of Jaipur-Delhi only, as existing shatabdi also runs vacant in between jaipur-ajmer.
One Bangalore to Shirdi Vande Bharat train is very much required..

Better is to start this train from Jaipur at 6.15 am and reach DEC at 9.50 am with Alwar and Gurgoan as stops and than depart it from DEC to Ambala Cantt and complete at Chandigarh. Run VB between Jaipur Alwar Gurgoan Delhi Cantt Ambala Cantt and Chandigarh. It will also connect 4 big cities Jaipur Gurgoan Delhi and Chandigarh.
