Still can't get over the fact that the Teaneck volunteer ambulance squad needs so many lights and sirens! So gaudy 😂 -- a bit overkill with the lights and sirens if I say so myself...
Visibility is key! However particularly the older White Freightliner I'd have to agree. But the 80s GMC all the lights are in the right place without looking gaudy!
If I recall correctly, a Teaneck ambulance was involved in a vehicle a accident and a Teaneck personell was sadly killed, so they added all the lights and sirens so the chances of it happening again are slimmer.
Great video! Thanks for adding it! One thing that amazed me in watching the video is how ridiculous some of the buses look. They have red and blue LED's firing at the same time which looks like purple, while others have a million LED's all flashing at random patterns. I find it amazing that the upfitters of these vehicles were unable to find the sync wire and set the lights up to some type of synchronization pattern that would actually move traffic and more importantly, not cause confusion to a driver who is unsure if that is a bus coming up behind them or a Vegas billboard. Back in the day we had a halogen light bar or rotators along with lights on the corners of the box that were synced and headlight flashers and we moved traffic fine. It seems to be the trend now to see how many lights you can put on a bus and see how many different flash patterns you can set them to.
The paramedics deserve alot of credit your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks don't work to hard love respect and appreciate you guys thanks terrific catch as usual ! Joe
I love the video and can’t wait to see other excellent videos you have!!!!!! I loved the Maryland ambulances!!!!!!! The next compilation you do can it be a Maryland fire and ambulance compilation????
@demonracer2, couple of questions about. Filming/taking photography of emergency vehicles. 1. What camera do you use, and what are your settings for day/night. 2. Do you ever just take still photography of emergency vehicles, that’s what I’m really interested in and do a lot of shooting for stringing/news.
Hi, I love watching your videos. I live in Europe, exactly in the Czech Republic. In Europe there are people who love lighting effects of storoscopes on cars. We have blue and red warning lights on fire trucks, police cars, rescue cars, ambulance, doctor car, police officers, military police, prison guard, mountain help service, city police, criminal police, coroner, pyrotechnics, secret police, special police intervention police, president, government officials, presidential guard, customs police, shipping police, gas breakdown service, power failure service. We have yellow flasher lights for overload, overload trucks, towing service, construction machinery> excavators, bulldozers, cranes, cleaning tracks, garbage trucks, security agencies, electricians service. I can ask you, you could make a video about the vehicles with yellow lights at your home. I want to see other cars with yellow warning lights, please? thank you very much. I send greetings from Europe.
They are automatic snow chains, many fire and EMS vehicles in this area are equipped with them, in the event of snow we can just flip a switch and an arm with the chains will drop down and they will spin along with the rear tires to give the vehicle extra traction.
@@demonracer2 Thank you so much for you reply. I live in Puerto Rico and had never seen that. Well it does not snow here. You know yesterday I looked under our fleet of ambulances and still had the question as to what the heck were they. Thank you so much for the reply. Thanks!!

Todd L. Owens thanks so much for watching! Unfortunately most rigs in this area aren’t synced in any way
I agree. The most effective pattern is a flash of all blue followed by all red, synchronized so they don't flash at the same time
WOW! 62 emergency response scenes! Fantastic compilation!
I'm glad you included Rockaway Neck. And Par Troy ambulances responding!
Tom Bell thank you so much!
@@demonracer2 Your welcome! It was fantastic!
At 2:33 it doesn’t have enough lights
Lol Ikr
@@joeycerbone plus they employees are all volunteers so they get more money to spend on the trucks

I am curious as to why some of the ambulances have chains that drag on the road? Thanks in anticipation for reading my comments.

2:33 lit up like a christmas tree
all of them

1:27 what Yelp siren is that
Why is it always in America these compilations
I’m with vultures. England. Their not taking me to Triton, New Jersey.
Why do some trucks have chains hanging from underneath them and drag when going over bumps? Surely that's dangerous
SgtRosier There’s snow chains for the winter, when they are deployed they run under the tires when they drive
Ah makes sense thanks

Kris Ausenbaugh some are just private companies, I’d move for the Fire ambulances more
You should move regardless, but the private companies think they’re the big leagues, and they’re not.
