Pastor Clay, this band and gifted group of singers helped to usher me into the presence of God to prepare my heart to receive His word for years. I am new to Calvary, and also a musician. I find this music quite different than Today, but very soothing, and this Worship Team is quite talented. (I am a big fan of CCM--Crowder, Toby Mac, Big Daddy Weave, etc , but I do love this sound.) I have also heard music with large "Chorale Groups" on stage--I would love to see that come back. 🙏
It is very sad how much maintenance is required in order to maintain a large choir like the old days. This is a very anointed group. But I am used to listen to acquire the size of our church. Different scale. I wonder how David pulled it off with 5,000 people. :D
