Wow! Just how in the world did you figure all of that out? There's a lot of stuff goin' on there...kinda hard to separate the lead from all the other stuff...I think you are the first person I have seen that played it *ALL* correctly...excellent job!
I could never understand what was happening when the last solo starts, (when you start with the T bird), the music seems to fold in on itself, the most exciting 10 seconds in guitar music, period.
Just just let you know how really good Eric Clapton was at this time. The Precision in his playing in his phrasing is always noticeable when anyone else tries to play his solos. Kudos to this guy for learning all the positions but he missed a lot of the subtle stuff and it does help to tune the guitar. This is one of Clapton's best solos ever.
