Linduška horská (Anthus spinoletta) u nás patří bohužel k ubývajícím druhům. Má jméno, které dobře vystihuje prostředí, ve kterém žije. Jsou to balvanitá pole s travnatými ostrůvky, horské louky často s klečí, kamenité sutě a srázy nad hranicí lesa. Obvykle v září sestupují do nižších poloh, v blízkosti vod, někdy zde zůstávají i zimovat. Většina jich ale odlétá do jižní a jihozápadní Evropy. Na svá horská hnízdiště se vracejí od konce března do května, kdy ještě v horách leží sníh. Jsou tedy částečně tažné.

The Water Pipi (Anthus spinoletta) is unfortunately one of the declining species in our country. It has a name that describes the environment in which it lives well. They are boulder fields with grassy islands, mountain meadows often with meadows, stony screes and escarpments above the forest line. Usually in September they descend to lower positions, near water, sometimes they stay here to winter. But most of them fly to southern and southwestern Europe. They return to their mountain nesting grounds from the end of March to May, when there is still snow in the mountains. They are therefore partially towable.
