It's just an artistic effect to fool the audience before Gojo's technique is revealed. Like Jogo felt that he touched Gojo even tho he didn't, so what we are seeing is almost like the perspective of what Jogo would've thought was happening. Even the stumbling around is all just done to fool the audience the same way Jogo was fooled.
