Hi . I fly a Searey in colombia . One question : why is it always your tail wheel like fixed ? It doesn’t go up for water take off ?? Doesn’t make you a lot of water resistant while taking off and landing ?? Thanks and nice videos .
Sorry for the very late reply only just noticed it… yes the tail wheel is fixed… no it doesn't go up for water takeoffs…. Very little drag, as soon as it pops up on the step which is very quick the wheel is out of the water… I have been using it for five years without any issues at all, highly recommended so many advantages.
