Sounds like you are shooting a big target? Is it a 12x20 IPSC?
Train on SUPER small targets. It will pay off.
Also.....doing one shot drills will yield better results and less ammo spent.
Just a couple tips from a fellow MN PRS shooter.

12x20; actually I replicated part of the actual stage with the actual sized target that we were shooting just before. It is a generous sized target, and I agree with you 100% that with skill set, increasingly smaller targets will help me. My skill set is getting better too. I typically score somewhere around mid-pack, just to put it in perspective of where I'm at. Thanks again for your encouragement bro, hope to see you at a match sometime and look over your rifle. Maybe I can promote your channel and record some of your stages! Looks like you've got some great content already.

From the first match that you posted, this recent match footage, you can easily see your progression. Good on you dude!
Maybe we will run into each other at some point at a match, but we don't shoot many matches in Minnesota..... They tend to all be at square ranges with big generous targets.... And that won't make you better unfortunately.
We prefer out of area field matches.
You can actually get some good panning with targets and good wind angles.
And most of the time there is generous targets along with tiny targets.... Depending on how bad the wind is.

And thanks for the kind words about my channel... I don't really put any effort into it.
I used to do TH-cam for a living and I literally burnt out.

    Bruh.
You say that the Ziess S3 doesnt have good glass??? It is 100% German Schott Glass.
    Are you serious?

Hey NBK, thanks for your comment. I'm trying to remember if I squadded with you this year at all? Remind me of your name, I'd love to come chat with you sometime. Actually the S3 series uses Jap sourced glass, just like the ZT which I'm going to give you a link to read about in a second. When it comes to glass, execution of the design matters a lot and the short length of the 4-25 probably resulted in some minor issues (the Zeiss is a common LOW in house option, Tract is also using it, and one more large brand). You are thinking of the S5 series which does in fact use German glass exclusively. So, I am serious and I still think both optics are great, but I far prefer the ZT 5-30x. Take or it leave it, that's fine with me. I just enjoy making content and learning how to shoot better, and understanding products better as I work with these Brands to produce content. Here's a link about the Jap glass in the S3: rifle-shooter.com/article/zeiss-lrp-s3-425x50#:~:text=Well%2C%20this%20scope%20is%20made,depending%20on%20your%20angular%20preference.

Just to add to your negative thoughts on Bushnell Elite series.....they are over $1000 cheaper than your Zero Tech.
Also.....your glass quality won't win you matches or replace junk fundamentals.....just a tip :)

    • @GTMGunTotinMinnesotan
      @GTMGunTotinMinnesotan  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Hey, no need to remind me. I completely agree fundamentals are core rifle doctrine, and the glass quality only helps or hurts. Thanks again for your tip. The Elite series, I would contend, are inferior and now older designs. I've actually had a fair amount of subscribers chime in about issues with their Bushnells and parts failures or warranty avoidance by Bushnell. I plan to make a video about product failures I've been experiencing with mine, and the lack of warranty communication. Again, to each his own. I don't personally care what other people pick for glass, I don't make affiliate cash from ZT, I just prefer it over most of the Elite series at this point. Bushnell still makes some awesome gear, which I've made content on in the past. Wasn't trying to step on your toes if this was your optical preference, so sorry if I came off rude.

@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan we have been running the Bushnell elite XRS 3 for two full seasons now. No hiccups.
And I did have to return one because I scratched the lens myself, and they replaced it with warranty no issues. I had another scope back in my hands in 10 days total turnaround.
