They taxi to the EOR team situated just before the entry to the runway and that team perform last minute checks and arm any weapons and remove the ‘remove before flight’ tags . The jets are then cleared to line up for departure.

I believe for safety reasons, weapons safety pins are removed in a special weapons arming area after the planes leave the parking ramp and before they move onto the runway.
