OK so I had perioral dermatitis for the first time EVER recently and I *think* I’ve narrowed it down to the lawless forget the filler lip products! I don’t know if you’ve tried them - I think you have - might be worth quitting if so and seeing if it at least helps!
I watched a company video from K18 and then I contacted them about the conditioner part. They said, in both communications, that after that 4 minutes you can do anything you like. You can use a leave-in or oil or heat protectant and style how you like. You just have to give the product those 4 minutes to penetrate and activate the peptides and then you're good to go. I have been using it as they said and have fantastic results. Nothing changed except the K18. Like anything though, it will be magic for some and not for others.
I too am liking a good brown mascara. You might want to try the Clinique Lash Power Mascara in Dark Chocolate or the Clinique High Impact Waterproof Mascara in Black/Brown. The colours are nice and they wear beautifully even on sensitiv eyes.
Yes to the curly hair vlog! I would also be super curious to know if the Virtue shampoo / conditioner and products loosen your curls as it smooths. I have trouble finding things that really give that super soft feeling to my hair without straightening out my waves and curls!
Love this! Quick piece of advice for the eczema cream (only read if you want advice!!): the skinfix and other more Vaseline like ointments can make you burn like crazy cause of the oil in them so maybe double up sunscreen in that area if you’re going outside a lot! This was learnt from personal experience as I have full body eczema and oof sunburned eczema is no fun at all 😅❤
@@xxserenityxxolv9863 It doesn’t say it’s specifically for eczema, but I have been putting the Biossance squalane + omega repair cream on my eczema flare ups, and it has really helped heal them up! I’ve also found it’s helpful to sleep with a humidifier in my room because I live in a very dry climate. I have the canopy humidifier, which I absolutely adore. I’ve also heard that bamboo sheets can be helpful. I actually just ordered some today lol
@@xxserenityxxolv9863 The best thing really is a doctor issued steroid cream to get rid of active flare ups, and then keep it well moisturised. I like the Eucering Urea body lotion and sometimes good old vaseline. I also use a mild body AHA (Glycolic lotion 7% by the ordinary) as preventative care. For some reason, when I keep my skin a bit acidic I have less issues with body eczema. Don't put it on active problem areas though, that is unpleasant!
i noticed when i use the pattern beauty products my hair overtime feels sooo dry and i never get the curls that i want. i switched back to Bounce Curl and specifically their avocado rose oil clump and define cream. i hiiiiiiiighly hiiiiighly recommend it. i think you’d love it. it’s like night and day when i use bounce curl vs pattern 4:23

I have eczema on my face including my eyelids. I highly recommend the Ultra calming range from Dermalogica. My skin only tolerates their products. When things get really bad I use their Barrier repair.

The face balm from SkinFix I use on my eyelids during the fall & winter when it's suuuuper dry and it helps immensely. Also gave it to my Mom who was having some weird skin issues and she liked it.
I tried the ysl “lash clash” brown mascara and LOVE IT!!!! I also tried the charlotte tilbury pillow talk “push up” mascara in the dream pop shade (reddish brown) and it’s also sooo beautiful but the formula is very wet. Combined together and AMAZING results! You must try these!!!

I don’t know if your eczema started up again after you used the Paula’s Choice exfoliator, but I actually got eczema on my upper lip area after using it even when I avoided my nose and mouth area. I stopped using it, and started again once the eczema went away and the same thing happened! It’s the only thing I could think of that would’ve been the cause. Possibly moisturizer application allowing the product to move to my mouth.

Hi Jamie, a little advice for the k18 mask that i got from Abbey yung’s Channel on TH-cam is to wash your hair, follow with the k18 mask, wait 4min in the shower and then you can put your conditionner on and rince it out. It does not rince out k18 because it has already penetrate your hair. Mine is way less tangle and more shiny when i do this 😊

i absolutely love the rare beauty tinted moisturizer! i’m about to run out so i picked up a new bottle during the sale. the skin fix product kinda reminds me of the cerave healing ointment. i didn’t try it, but just the idea of it. if you haven’t tried the cerave one, it’s def worth a try! i keep it on my nightstand and love to put it on my eczema spots / healing spots when i pick sometimes (oops). also i wanted to pick up a Haus labs product during the sale (wasn’t sure what but just wanted to try something as I haven’t yet) but I completely forgot until seeing this aaaah. one day hopefully! lol

Okay question. I have wavy hair, my whole life I've thought it was straight. But I realized last summer that when its really hot and humid my hair gets super wavy. But now I don't know how to style it. I got curly hair stuff and tried it on my hair but I feel like it's too heavy for my hair and ends up not doing anything. And most of the products I see are for curly hair not wavy. I also have hair on the finer side but there is a lot of it. Any advice on what to do or try?
Initially when I tried to K18 treatment I felt like it actually dried my hair out a little bit because I normally use a pretty heavy-duty conditioner everyday. I literally used an entire bottle of the K18 and I felt like I hated my hair because it just always felt way too dry. Thankfully I watched another couple of videos from a creator here on TH-cam named Abbey Yung and she is incredibly well-versed in skincare and haircare science. She explained in her videos that you actually can use conditioner after you use the K18 treatment and she goes into detail about how to do it correctly. She had even reached out to K18 to get the directions for correctly using conditioner at the same time as the treatment so that she had the actual manufacturers backing on all of her information. After watching a video, I got another bottle of the treatment to try it again and knowing what I know now, I'm very happy with the results that I'm getting simply because I'm using it more effectively.
I didn’t have an issue with the Makeup by Mario lip product setting into the fine lines of my lips, but I had to return mine cause it was constantly bleeding out of my lip line, regardless of which lip liner I paired it with 😔 I was so bummed out cause the texture and appearance wasn’t anything like I own but the way it migrated so easily was terrible, I’ve never had that issue with any other product before 😩
Let me tell you something….I have medium/thick 3c/4a African American hair. That Pattern styling custard and styling cream is no joke one of the best combos for my hair. Barely any frizz, keeps the curl for days if I’m planning on keeping the curls intact. Pattern blew me away with those products.

Weird! I recently got excema on my upper lip too! I even tried out the skinfix excema balm also. It felt nice but didn’t do anything to really help it go away (I know it’s not a treatment). I don’t think it was worth the price, though it does seem to be helping my baby’s little excema patch on her back
K-18 has stated publicly that using conditioner after K-18 will NOT interfere with the peptide's ability to penetrate/repair. I've had great results with this method! Thanks so much for the content Jamie!
I love the K18 mask. After the 4 minutes are up, go in with a leave in conditioner so that your hair is rehydrated. K18 is awesome for color treated hair and is keratin safe. I did 6 consecutive treatments and then switched to an every other week refresher. The Olaplex 6 leave in or a similar leave in conditioner helps. You just have to wait until the K18 is finished working (4 minutes) before applying the hydrating product.
OMG the new Merit lip products are pH-adjusting, which is why they all look the same pink colour on the lips. I did wonder about this when I was watching your video but just had it confirmed by State of Kait’s most recent faves video.
I wasn’t crazy about the Skinfix eczema balm. I didn’t find it did much and I wouldn’t repurchase. The ren overnight recovery balm is better but it’s so pricey.
Do you use the lawless forget the filler lipgloss/masks? I have seen a few people who have eczema in the same area as you and it has turned out to possibky be that. There is a specific ingredient in it which is irritating to some people. Just a suggestion. Enjoyed this video and your reviews. ❤

No! I apply straight from the tube. It’s def very melty!!
Mine is gloopy too. I switched to applying with my finger. Not ideal, but at least that makes the product usable.

I wasn’t crazy about the Skinfix eczema balm. I didn’t find it did much and I wouldn’t repurchase. The ren overnight recovery balm is better but it’s so pricey.

Do you use the lawless forget the filler lipgloss/masks? I have seen a few people who have eczema in the same area as you and it has turned out to possibky be that. There is a specific ingredient in it which is irritating to some people. Just a suggestion. Enjoyed this video and your reviews. ❤
Hiiii Jamie 😁 I was told by a doctor that eczema can be triggered by food intolerances, especially gluten or dairy. Something to look into 💕
