    It’s a great first step for Bmw EV but I’ll get excited when they design an EV from the ground up and not just remove the engine out of a current lineup sedan. That’s why it weighs 5000 lbs, has a hump in the back seat floor, and no frunk. It’s an EV Frankenstein’s monster. When BMW produces a EV from scratch that’s 1000 lbs lighter and has 300+ range, I’ll buy

      Same here, once they build something like BMW M5 Series with EV, I will buy. Just make it like 5 , Huge rear seat headroom, leg room, massaging seats and Sun curtain! I feel Sun Curtain is the KEY to be call LUXURY

    Tesla Mode 3 still way better as i4M50 Rear seat is a joke :( They should have BUILD this on M5 5 series, so theres plenty of headroom, rear leg room and suncurtain plus Massaging seat option! 4series do not have those.

    Hmmm I have mixed emotions . I don’t like electric vehicles. But I like to listen and be informed about them . Like I’m doing right now. 😀😀. I thought you were Going to say it was programmed to play Dean Martin music🤪. I like the grill , I like the power. BMW is such a leader for performance. Reliability, not really . Great for a short term lease . But not a keeper. You comment about recording an accident. Brought me to this. What i know from Alphonse and Rosario at the body shop . Most of these panels are aluminum . An absolute night mare to replace . It’s not like you can weld things back. It is total replacement. So hopefully the camera shows the other party was at fault . Because even a small collision could result in a total insurance claim.
    For the record your about 5 ft 7 with the hair bun. 👱🏻‍♀️😂Always a pleasure

    How about this. In America. The new bill in congress . Has a clause in it that wants to give 42 billion in tax credits to the rich for electric vehicles. Why not the middle class, we ask? Because they know they don’t have the disposable income. How sad Is this ?

    Does the i4 really have half the storage of the model 3? That doesnt seem right. The frunk in the model 3 i nice enough, but theres space for a couple of jackets there. But I guess you have the extra room under the flat floor. However the I4 is able to fit so much bigger items because of the hatch. And it has a fully automated hitch as well (m3p none).

    I'm 6'2" and notice that the Tesla M3 gives me much more room than the BMW. Like the frunk, panoramic roof, and spartan interior of the Tesla much better as well. The standard 18" wheels on the Tesla gives me an excellent ride and superior range.

    Due to chip shortages, the hands-free tailgaite and touchpad idrive knob have been removed. Also the edrive40 no long has Driving Assistant Pro Package or Parking Assist Package options.

    The i4m50 US Starts at $65,800. I have to chuckle a bit; BMW is infamous for nickel and diming on "options" if you want a decent car stereo, just add another $875. I' own a BMW and I've owned a few in the past. They brag about their engineering, but I dunno, at times it seems like they were competing for 1st prize in a Rube Goldberg competition.

    It's interesting how BMW comes up with an electric version but the performance doesn't really compare to the Tesla Model 3 (its competitor, more or less).

      @@AutomotiveWoman Oh, I completely agree! I have had old BMWs and I'm currently daily driving a Tesla. I definitely prefer the craftsmanship and performance from BMW, but I was curious about how this is a performance model but the performance is lacking a bit. Tesla is great but I'm not in love with it either. I guess we can't have the perfect car :)

      Hmm...you better look at those figures again. They're very close and the BMW is likely better for passing acceleration which is more important that 0-100 kph times which too are very close though the win for that goes to the Tesla Model 3 performance but just. Regardless, I own the i4 M50 and it will likely hardly ever be driven in anything but ECO pro because this kind of acceleration has almost no practical purpose other than massaging egos and testosterone levels.
