@@jh1328 Easy for some but to generalize it like that really isn't fair. I've played in bands for decades and to say doing anything musical is easy just isn't true. Easy for some but not for everyone.
I hate that everyone turned their backs on him. Theres no reason for nickelback to be hated. Especially when they gave us several other bands with huge hits
I miss the 2000s so much. This is the kind of rock music I like. Whether it be guys like Default, Staind, Creed, and Puddle of Mudd from the Early 2000s (2000-2002) or guys like The Killers, Trapt, All-American Rejects, Lifehouse, 3 Doors Down, and Nickelback in the middle of the decade (2003-2006) or guys like the Jonas Brothers, Daughtry, One Republic, The Script, and Kings of Leon from the late 2000s (2007-2009).
They're releasing a new album next year. It was suppose to come out last March but the label (TVT Records)they were with filed for bankrucy and they just signed with a new label.Which is awesome because crappy TVT records did absolutely nothing for these guys. and they deserve the best. awesome band and the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
They came into a bar I worked for in college in northern NY about 20 or so years ago and were super fucking cool. We stayed open late for them and they chilled with my buddy and I as we cleaned up and drank shots and talked about the biz. It was the whole band minus the lead singer. Such fucking cool dudes. I wish them all the best forever!
Best Band ever!! and friends of mine! they rocks in sn miguel de allende at Jack Daniel's Bar with me! and take some beers and ladies!! great!! best band ever!!
LMMFAO.. I met these guys when we were on tour in 2002 and you know what... Jeremy had just bought those brown leather pants he is wearing lol he bought them in Australia.. Both our bands were playing in Winnepeg at the time. They are a cool bunch of guys... love the leather pants Jeremy lmao
tenia 12 años cuando los escuche por primera vez buscando una radio buena, no me gustaba lo que estaba esas veces de moda...cuando los escuche tarde 5 años despues para saber como se llamaba la banda y la cancion !!!!! marcaron mi infancia!!!!
this song is so nastolgic for me....one of my all time favorites, when music was REAL music. We need to get the music industry to regress back to the early 90's.
@HipHopAnonymouse thanks for the info..actually i'm from malaysia..so don't know much about this group..but i really proud during my teenage years...with modern rock music in early 2000's...where band likes default, creed, staind, puddle of mudd, hoobastank, etc dominate music chart...sorry for my english...
@nasrosicky I just saw them live tonight in Hays, Ks for Wild West Fest, and it was definitely worth it. They are amazing live, it's a shame they aren't more popular these days.
Guitarist Cam I agree, I only started listening to Staind a few months ago, and I got the vibes of Dallas Smith in his voice and Matthew Good Band in how they sounded.
Rumor has it that good music like this actually existed for a time.
There are tons of amazing bands outside of the mainstream, my dude.
It's a legend now lol
It did! I seent it!
You mean the yarling/adding an “R” to every word- vocals and 2-chord progressions?
@@cloudrise I think what he means, is this should be mainstream, not tekashi 69 or some nonsense
God, every single thing about this video screams early 2000s, and I love it.
Very underrated singer. Pretty amazing how he screams certain words in the chorus like that
C Drummys He’s probably the only reason this band had any fame whatsoever to be honest
Cause they be too high to hit with out screaming
I’ve sung this song a few times, that’s the only part I can’t fully do.
It’s super easy to do and usually done because the vocalist is unable to hit those notes clean, so amazing wouldn’t be the word I would use.

I love how the crowd was so involved in this song. I miss the 2000s so much.
Yep, no cell phones.
it was Chad Kroeger who discovered the band after hearing a demo and wanted to get them in the studio to record a full album as soon as possible.
I hate that everyone turned their backs on him. Theres no reason for nickelback to be hated. Especially when they gave us several other bands with huge hits
God bless him
Chad did the same for Theory.
So what?
I love the raspyness of his voice in this performance. Its too bad the record doesn't capture it as well as it should have
Love Default. Totally underappreciated.
Defininetly a forgotten band and underrated for sure. 2020 here.
This guy has a power voice and love the way he finishes his words with bravado. And it's effortless for him. Chew on that Robert plant!
These guys are awesome live I've been to every show in Toronto. I can't wait for the new album.
i use to sing this when i was in high school....it makes me remember the good-old-days...
2021 February right now, uptop😌💯‼
They sound amazing live. Just wow.
03:23 OMFG!!!!..hard hitting!!!!
This was the first concert I ever went too when I was a kid.. my took me.. brings back good memories for me and was a great show for sure
2019 on a stroll down memory Lane back to my early 30s.

Power voice!!!
Greate song!!!
love this kind of crowd, no iphones, no gadgets, just enjoying the live performance! |m|
iphones wouldnt exist for another 8 years butthead
He sounds better in live performance than in records.
That's on god
WOW, HOW DOGSHIT MUST THE RECORDS BE?
Did you really say that. Lmfao
Theres a shit ton of reverb
@@pete723reverb?

One of the most under appreciated rock bands out there.
Love these guys and have seen these guys 10 times and they been gone for over 10 years already. Dallas loves his country music
i just watch it 4 times today and still i cant keep my eyes off him ..

Amazing performance.
What a song!
Always gives me chills. So relatable.
I'm listening to nothing but 90's early 2000's Alternative Rock now and "Dam" its good! I miss this era! How did music get so F'D up!
Gosh came across this song from a reel and it took me back to my VH1 days in early 2000s 🥹

boys one of the best to ever do it
Dallas Smith has a high octave like Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge, 2009 is the year of all the comeback bands.
Alguém curtindo aqui em 2020! Música top!
LMMFAO.. I met these guys when we were on tour in 2002 and you know what...
Jeremy had just bought those brown leather pants he is wearing lol he bought them in Australia.. Both our bands were playing in Winnepeg at the time. They are a cool bunch of guys... love the leather pants Jeremy lmao

his voice does things to me!!! :o)

When Rock ruled, things WERE GREAT 👍
The days when everybody enjoys good music and not use mobile phones to take a video of the concert...those days are long gone....
Loooong gone my friend
A banda default ficou famosa no Brasil no último (11/03/2011), pois foi citada numa prova de avaliação de concurso público (senado federal).
i love how the crowd advances the whoahh again at 3:37 :)
No, this video is about 7 yrs old.
Great Band!!! awesome live!
Does anyone else think that Dallas i sooooo beautiful???? What a stuning voice!!!!
this song is so nastolgic for me....one of my all time favorites, when music was REAL music. We need to get the music industry to regress back to the early 90's.
every filipino men loves this song.
Are u kidding, that was amazing live
Guitar intro reminds me of "Release"
Yeah, it does
Surprising how many people don’t know that the singer here is Dallas Smith, who is now a country music star
great!!!!!!!!!!
Year 2000 was amazing.
He has a unique voice like my boy from Kings of Leon!!! 👍
It's not unique then, is it? If it's like the guy from Kings of Leon's voice, it's not unique.
how did this band ever stop making music? all their albums are awesome
amazing
Strong singer ! Never mind the fact he’s pretty as hell ! That’s a pure strong voice
@memoyzky I totally agree with you. His voice is a total eargasm
They definitely come in hard at 2:40, dude got his voice
DUUUUDE HE DOES!!!
You know its a good band when there is rock and roll and a good amount of chix.
yeah, hehe, actually what caught me about this song, was the "fragments" of growls that he throws in there, it sounds awesome!
@HipHopAnonymouse thanks for the info..actually i'm from malaysia..so don't know much about this group..but i really proud during my teenage years...with modern rock music in early 2000's...where band likes default, creed, staind, puddle of mudd, hoobastank, etc dominate music chart...sorry for my english...
and they're freaking cool as well.
@nasrosicky I just saw them live tonight in Hays, Ks for Wild West Fest, and it was definitely worth it. They are amazing live, it's a shame they aren't more popular these days.
Holy Scream at 3:24. It's even more awesome live.
where this band now..? fantastic live performance....
This guy is an amazing singer. Love that he’s a country now.
Unique voice, and sounds just like the record. Pleasantly surprised
I got to book these guys at Harrahs Atlantic city
Whose here in 2021?
2024
They are coming out with "Still Standing" in march 09
I sort of feel as though his voice sounds similar to Maynard James Keenan
Funny you say that. I thought he sounds more like Aaron Lewis of Staind. They all have amazing voices nonetheless.
Wow he DOES sound like Maynard. A lot actually. Don’t think I would’ve pinpointed that though
Dallas Smith is great
Guitarist Cam I agree, I only started listening to Staind a few months ago, and I got the vibes of Dallas Smith in his voice and Matthew Good Band in how they sounded.
If this doesn’t make you feel something.. check your pulse 💔.. one of the most underrated bands of all time. 🖕 The radio. This is the RADIO.
A decade ago i was jamming to this. and here i am still ! DEFAULT LOVE!! ALWAYS!
Great singer, I'm surprised this band didn't go further.
