Shahab, a kind soldier, was traveling through a forest to his village when he noticed a bush shaking violently. He approached cautiously with his sword and discovered a monkey tangled in thorns. Shahab carefully freed the monkey, applied herbal medicine to its wounds, and moved on. As he walked, the monkey followed him, insisting on staying by his side to repay his kindness. Shahab tried to dissuade it, but the persistent monkey followed him all the way to his village.
At home, Shahab’s mother welcomed him warmly, but she was startled when the monkey leapt into their house. Shahab explained how he had saved the monkey, and his mother allowed it to stay. However, the mischievous monkey caused chaos, stealing bananas from Shahab’s uncle Sikandar. Shahab apologized and paid for the bananas, calming the situation.
Soon, Shahab’s leave ended, and he needed to return to his post. His mother advised him to take the monkey back to the forest and trick it into staying there. Following her plan, Shahab gave the monkey a pot with small holes and sent it to fetch water. While the monkey struggled with the leaking pot, Shahab quietly slipped away and returned to his camp.
Moral: Even the kindest of actions can lead to unexpected challenges, but patience and wisdom can resolve them.
