Wow, what an amazing video! The filming quality is outstanding, and your product review is incredibly detailed. You covered everything a viewer would want to know-fantastic work!
Thank you very much indeed. There are certainly a lot of good coffee makers with grinders today, and I'd say that the Gevi 10-Cup Drip Coffee Maker With Built-In Grinder is easily one of the best value options.
I was in Williams Sonoma in San Francisco on Thursday and they had a combination coffee maker that was well over $1000. I am never going to spend that much to make coffee. I remember when San Francisco car dealers used to give you a one pound can of MJB or Hills Brothers coffee when you bought a car. i saw my neighbors drive up as I came home and they had a Hyundai Kona car and I asked them if they gave you free coffee when you bought a car named after a coffee bean and they said no and I said they should go back and demand free coffee & they laughed. Now the bags are 12 ounces. We drank Maxwell House in our home for years in a big can.
Yeah, coffee makers can get super expensive. It's crazy to think that $1000 is actually considered a "mid-range" price by some people. Oh that's a funny story! I feel like nowadays people get suspicious whenever they're offered anything for free. Even coffee!
I have a Black and Decker plain coffee maker and it is terrible. It makes coffee that is way too strong & almost undrinkable unless I put a lot of creamer and Splenda in it but it was all I could afford when my beloved Gevalia coffee maker died after 18 years. I would never buy one of their coffee makers again. Tools yes. Coffee maker hell NO !
Wow Gevalia! That name brings back some memories. To be fair, I've used a lot of Black and Decker kitchen products over the years, and they're usually pretty good, if a little basic. But of course not everyone has a good experience with these more budget brands, so thanks for sharing yours!
