I'm Korean and I did think this could possibly explode while watching this because of the way they translated it but i'm surprised at HOW big this 'issue' really became. I'm all for educating idols on their mistakes but truly, I barely see this as an issue.
First, let's look at the context of the situation. The two of them have gone to a couples relationship counselling. The lady who works there says that friends come in to do the counselling too as well as couples. In the background at around 7:44 you see two girls doing the same thing as Jaebum and Youngjae. For these sorts of places, it's way more common for two girls (most likely just friends) or a boy and girl couple to go to the place.
Jaebum probably keeps asking and saying its weird for two guys to be there because to him, it seems uncommon for guys to willingly try going there. Youngjae even reads a sign that says "If you don't understand your boyfriend, bring him along." The place is more targeted towards girls and them bringing someone along.
Jaebum is probably embarrased in the context of the stiuation being like that so please holy mother of god, stop saying Jaebum is homophobic. He's on a team with Jackson who is so affectionate and open to both genders and Bambam who has a fashion style that is in between masculine and feminine styles.

I loved JB since GOT7 appeared and I will always love him, he is such a great person and has a wonderful manly personality, I read comments about a war o.O and I understand Korean and I have to tell you I was shocked that anyone would interpret his words wrongly, he never mentioned anything bad, he behaves exactly like an average Korean person would so what is the big deal...he was adorable in this video and I love him for being who he is and showing how caring and cute he is

Especially in this situation where YoungJae said that they are going to practice for future when JB has a gf. YoungJae said he wants to evaluate if JB is "doing very well and very romantic" and whether he can be loved by his gf or not. So it basically means that they decided YoungJae is going to act like he is JB's girlfriend. JB was still a bit reluctant to cook for YoungJae but then he gives up and says "OK, OK, let's go. We've got to go all the way" to which YoungJae coughs and laughs because he knows JB is implying a double meaning of going "all the way".It would make sense if JB was maybe in a hurry or something to say "let's go" AND "we've got to go all the way" but he still asks YoungJae what he should cook and that stuff. JB was implying that if YoungJae is going to be his gf then he wants them to "go all the way", to do with YoungJae (after eating) what he would do with his future gf(naughty things lolol).It's common for that to be called "going all the way". I thought people would get the reference. Why would a homophobic man jokingly imply that he wants to do naughty things with another man? He's not homophobic! They were obviously just teasing each other the whole time.Like why did they say YoungJae is sexist when he basically said that he wants to act as JB's gf also? People are so quick to misunderstand.

Ok so after watching this and seeing the translations from Koreans i am absolutely livid. how can people be so cruel and call an idol homophobic knowing it can affect their lives. Jaebum clearly is joking here with his friend of 6 years and in no way said he's gonna beat up someone for their sexuality. People really love blowing things out of proportion and taking things out of context. If you're an ahgase shame on you for jumping on JB's throat so quick without trying to understand the situation. Got7 is a group who care so much for their fans and they're known to be the kings of fan service. They honestly don't care what your nationality, sexuality or race is, they are just happy to have people who support them. They've had so many fan meets and Jaebum has met a lot of male fans. For people to say "JB is gonna act violently towards male fans" is absolutely ridiculous and a reach. If you don't know anything about Got7 you can stfu and stay in your lane. I see a lot of antis trying so hard to bring Got7 down and tarnish Jaebum's image. It's embarrassing and pathetic for people to go to such lengths to bring down a group. Stop being so hateful and learn to enjoy your life.
And lastly, why the fuck would mbc broadcast something offensive that could potentially harm Jaebum's image. This is not a live show, and the editors clearly didn't see a problem. True koreans have different type of words and sometimes korean numbers can sound like a curse word and the meaning of the words can be misunderstood tbh so if korean fans saw these they wont let jb live tbh its only the inter. As a person who speaks both Korean and English, I can respectfully say that what JB supposedly said was a mistranslation. The "imma hit you", or what it was translated to, is a phrase that is shared among friends. It almost means "stop teasing", it is said in a joking manner. I am an avid supporter of LGBTQA+ rights and would not continue supporting someone if they were degrading the community that I stand for. Please do not bandwagon and try to be keyboard warriors to an issue that should have been overlooked as a misunderstanding. While I acknowledge that Korea is not an open country to the LGBTQA+ community, and while I am glad that so many people are standing up for the LGBTQA+ community's rights, please do not destroy someones career because of this accusation. I think JB's words have nothing to do with what he thinks about homosexuality, it's more like he felt embarassed, because Yoo Young Jae is such a tease and at some point of a day it can get uncomfortable, so he probably wanted Young Jae to stop teasing him.
