This is the end of the season and season 2 *_is confirmed_* was just confirmed this morning. Completely agree with you on Solo Leveling versus Kaiju No 8. I enjoyed Solo Leveling, I am looking forward to the second season, but so far as I'm concerned, this was better.
Yep, you got it, No.9 just keeps evolving in intelligence, which will turn into a huge threat later on. Really can't wait for season 2! But before that, looking forward to Dandadan later this year too 😁
I'm glad that Kaiju 8 was appreciated, this and Loser Rangers could give some traction to tokusatsu show and being a fan of it, i always for people to dive into it ^^. That also why I'm glad Ultraman Rising on netflix seem to be appreciated too. But yeah, I was already a fan of the manga, of course since it take inspiration from toku show, i'm just glad the anime adapted it pretty good. Next in line is Dandadan then, pretty Toku inspired too in a way ^^.
Was so surprised that this ended up being so well done ( Anime only. ) Easily one of the most fun anime I've seen in quite a while, thanks for the fun reactions to compliment :)
The General is by far the smartest person in that Room. He knows that he can't kill Kafka, because it would cause discourse among the divisions. This would be bad at a time that is starting to look like it could be a disaster event. He clearly took the time to research everything before he went into that room with Kafka. His daughter only Cemented what he probably already thought. He clearly knows that Kafka has been fighting for them for months and could easily have killed a whole division. He took all points of info and came to the conclusion that he would only Kill Kafka as a last resort.
I also really enjoyed solo leveling. Read the manga/manhwa for both of these anime. As far as the manga, I enjoyed solo leveling a lot more. Mainly due to the art work being phenomenal. As for the anime. Both had incredible music, so a tie there. Both added things in the adaptation that added character depth. I honestly didn’t have as much expectation for the Kaiju no 8 anime. Both have fun and creative world building. But I was shocked how damn good Kaiju no 8 anime was. Top to bottom it was excellent. Character development, storyline, cohesive and rational storytelling. I was less excited for Kaiju no 8 the anime and left more excited when it finished. Really enjoyed them both, but Kaiju no 8 was a tier above.
If you enjoyed Kaiju No 8. You might enjoy World Trigger. It's of the same concept of the world setting but instead of Giant Monsters, it's aliens from another dimension and Earth also have defense force to fight against Aliens. but what's the highlight of World Trigger is their unpredictable fights, I mean. you will never predict how can 1 character win the fight. it's kind of like how Kaiju no 8 sacrificed his body and left the core to regenerate and be behind Isao. That kind of thing, like the fights are so smart, it's all about Battle IQ it's not about who's stronger. the weakness of the anime is the animation. It's made by Toei from 2014 and as we all know toei only really anime when thing's are about to go down. but I think it's still worth watching. altho season 2 and 3 we're released recently. that's why they got a huge improvement in animation.
No.2 wasn't the strongest....It was one of the strongest. No.6 is the one that was strongest before No.8 The general was the only person to be able to tame it's power. You will see more of the reason "Why any normal person" wouldn't be able to use weapons like that.
No. 2 was _among_ the strongest. That’s already a limited number to begin with, unless you intend to claim some that didn’t get a number were even stronger.
I have to disagree Kaiju No.8 wasn't better then Solo Leveling. Arguably both are not far apart. Kafka had a linear growth. Every power growth was overshadowed by Kaiju power will win the day. Jinwoo was at times more lucky then prepared to take on what he faced and his also linear character development got to get stronger at least was challenged with moral dilemma. Well Kafka has also a dilemma, of sorts holding onto his humanity - to overcome the Kaiju to not kill of Shinomiyas dad. The most notable side character with Ishikawa was fun to watch with his embarrassment, but same goes for the cinnamon roll Jin Ho. Is where Kajiu come from a bigger mystery then what the system is? And for all that counts SL kills of characters - like sword man Kim. Sure you can say not a much impactful death, but in Kaiju No.8 nobody that had even the weakest link to the MC died despite the biggest calamity is unleashed on the world. Hibino wants to stand by his childhood crush Mina makes an interesting "romance", but I say seeing the ptsd depiction Joohee was far more interesting as female side cast thing to see. Obviously in SL the power scale by the end of the season is open ended while in Kaiju No.8 humans at least top out at some point, but for now they all happen to train their ability just in the right amount to overcome the situations equally. At last if we take the fight of this 12th episode and the start in in 11 to compare to the Igris fight and the fight for the jobquest including the psycho sequence before the daily quest and the job change animations etc. I think the Igris fight was more impact felt then this.
Oh I absolutely loved the Igris fight don't get me wrong, I will actually agree that that fight to end the season was better. As I said, I still really enjoyed solo leveling. But as A WHOLE, I think Kaiju season 1 was much better, at least to me. I have many reasons for this as well but I don't really want to write an entire essay here lol
Kafka and Mina are actually adorable, beyond hyped for season 2!
Finally we witnessed the debut of Gen Narumi, the strongest captain of the 1st division 🔥

Actually, Mina got the text about the deferral and then sent out a text to the rest of the Third Division.
Ah ok that makes more sense, as we saw Kafka had just woken up so he naturally wouldn't be right on his phone lol

ANIME OF THE SEASON NO QUESTION ❤
SEASON 2 HAS BEEN CONFIRMED 👍🏻👌🏻

Be ready for tomorow ep démons layer gonna be insane
Hell yeah!
Season 2 and a movie is confirmed come out next year
Kafka is a few years older than her! he is 32 and she is 27.
No.2 wasn't the strongest....It was one of the strongest. No.6 is the one that was strongest before No.8

12:47 5 years 27 to 32
As a kid I didn't care for old style anime like DBZ, Naruto... but New Gen Anime like JJK, Kaiju no. 8 is peak 2020's cinema!
Solo leveling flopped big time in Japan.
I misjudged the Director, he is wiser than I said last week. Looking forward to S2.

@@bluestReacts Yeah no essay needed. You are the round soft guy vs. the sharp chevron chiseled chin type. Both were a good watch.
Omg what did they do to Narumi lol pls look up pictures of him in the manga to see the difference lol
