Great video, I just have a correction as an ekko otp (its pretty much a consensus in ekko community as well): You would never go nashors then lich bane later, it's either one or the other, in the actual patch nashors is always a best choice than lich, because lich stats were heavily nerfed in the early season You should either 1) go void as 4th (even if enemy team doesnt have mr, void pays itself at 55 mr and by that point many champions have a base mr higher than that, even more if they build mercs) 2) a defensive item (zhonyas is indeed not a really good item before proto>nashors>rabadon as it used to be, but the w-zhonyas interaction is hyper important for those lategame teamfights when you're not that far ahead), banshee you kinda need the feeling for it since someone can just poke you and it has a 40s cd.
@Sho Sho yeah typically if you're going a defensive item you're already behind the closest thing to a defensive item you need if you're not totally behind is like cosmic or something lol cuz the haste give you more up time with your ult

As we all know, we go Nashors second now, but only if we get like super late-game do we sometimes build Lich Bane. Under the circumstances that you don't need a Zhonyas or some defensive item because the enemy team doesn't have any, or very much CC, we take Lich Bane as a sixth item after selling Mejai's if you are going absolute full AP, in which case your final build should look like Proto > Nashors > Rabadons > Void Staff > Lich Bane with boots. But most of the time, the game will probably be over by the time you get around to building your sixth item. And for me personally, if I'm taking Transcendence as a rune, I really like building Cosmic Drive instead :p
@@moveonvillain1080 You take it because if you dematerialize a minion, you do more dmg to that minion type. You demat casters, to earlier oneshot them, leading to you getting prio for roams/vision/objectives.
Maybe do one of those live challenger commentaries with adc? Preferably Kaisa or Vayne, both are kind of weak-ish early game, especially if not played right
I question how ekko is considered a bad early game when at lvl 2 you did half his health in 1 exchange. It hit so hard I doubt a tankier character would be able to handle that either.
I might pick up an oblivion orb after 1st item then complete it later on. I also suggest taking ignite and playing a more aggressive early game. He is squishy early on and with ignite, you actually have kill pressure. Just make sure he uses one of his spells before going in and you win the trade.

I can't make this shit work mid zed qiyana have some poke so u can one shot the dude after but ekko cant do that and his dmg is so bad I can't get a lead with him just slowly losing every game
@Sho Sho talon is the worst scaling assasin akali has nice lategame and the fact that qiyana has never ending dmg almost and can carry a teamfight with 1 ult if ur good is the only reason and zed is worse than kassadin and ekko or akali late game but still a very good latgame assasin
@Sho Sho and its not even east counter played at all ur just being salty abt it if theres a wall and thres 5 enemies u will atleast hit 3 of them on the wall ATLEAST that is ive played it in highelo games and it dosent even require u high skill to pull off

What situation would you take Doran, Dark seal and Corrupting pot as a first item?
You always want to go corrupting first, and then back at 350 gold to buy dark seal if its and easy matchup and 400 for a dorans ring if its a hard one

Its actually possible to oneshot backline with 2 qs when you have 2 points in it. All you have to do is use the dematirealizers

New to playing Ekko. Would you only build morello as a situational item? For example you lane against Sylas. W heal and he can steal your ult and heal

ekko is not a best scaling assasin its a midgame champ and u fall off so hard in late game and better late game assasins are like kassadin zed qiyana
