Totally agree with using the van as often as possible. For days out we just use bottled water, it's just nice after a walk or inclement weather to sit and relax with a brew and something to eat. All the best👍

We’re are off N Yorks and whitby area next week for about seven days….hopefully more if I can persuade Joanne, we have coats, (inc doggie coats) and a diesel heater, and a warm bed, no problemo, and no one around much, even better!

Great idea for a Vlog. A lot of people are shocked that we use our Van all through winter. Our first ever weekend away was mid December, I think people think of it as a tent 😂 great work with the Gimbal, you seem to have mastered it better than I did with mine 😂 love the sound of all 3 of the beers. Be interested to hear how the chocolate Cherry one went down. Great story telling footage with the lunch too btw 😊

I was thinking of buying a campervan or motorhome but now I have seen Caroline's coat I will invest in one of those instead. Who needs heating when you have one of those. Mind you don't catch your coat on those rose thorns Caroline. Is that really a shop. I thought it was a shed. I was thinking, "DO WORRY MOLLIE, THAT CAN'T BE A SHOP". Will you two stop showing off with your remote heating. It's not big and it's not clever and I don't have it. Is that beer a real blonde or a bottle blonde? Not a beer fan I'm afraid but enjoy the channel. Caroline brings the glamour, Mollie brings the cuteness and then there's Iain. Caroline... you will have to do a flower of the week every week now you've started 👍
Ha ha 😂 The coat can double as a bed or a tent so add some wheels and you are away 😂 The remote central heating is great until you have no mobile signal then it doesn’t work so fine for campsites not so much for remote wild camping ⛺️ What do you like to drink? We will try and do a feature 😂

Good video Only downside to using the motorhome / Camper van all year round is the mileage goes up & for some reason when people are looking to buy a second hand motorhome / Camper van they are looking for very low mileage one's. We have a 2003 with one hundred & eleven thousand on the clock & I am looking to put it in part ex for a brand new Camper van & every one has said (so far) there is too much mileage on it for us sorry 🤔
Wow that's a great mileage, you have definitely made the most of it, we hope to do the same! That seems crazy especially as you are trading it in and yours has been well looked after and serviced so would be a great buy for someone, especially a first motorhome 👍 The other downside to winter travel is the mud on the road, when we got back noticed it needs cleaning again 😂

Oil & filter every 10 thousand £2000 spent on having the gearbox refurbished with all new parts. New front suspension, timing belt & clutch, radiator & pipes & thermostat. 4 new tyres. So as the Camper van we would like to get, we will want till the end of 2023 to get it & keep saving for it. Then we are thinking of giving ours to a friend so they can get a few years out of it hopefully & get some holidays with it as well.
That sounds amazing! Better condition than some just sat not being used or neglected. A good plan and great idea using it to work from, a lot more people are considering that too now 👍
@@VantasticAdventures My wife is a paramedic & when she qualified she was told there was no jobs at the station she had been working from for 12 years 🤔 so a made rush & a motorhome later she was working from a station that is 50 ish miles from us😡 doing 12 hour day & night shifts so the motorhome was the only way to go. After 2 & a half years of that she has now moved to a station closer to home 😁 only 30 miles away 🤔 so she is still living out of the motorhome when working. Our plan is to buy a new motorhome or Camper van as we would like to drive to Finland to see friends & to cover the UK mountain biking 😁 But will be waiting till the end of 2023 now & see what the autotrail 68 is like or may go for a full on motorhome with big garage for the bikes. We need to use it as an every day vehicle as well 😲
That sounds a very sensible plan, maybe manufacturers will offer a special discount for key workers like your wife, for the job they do they should be rewarded by all companies 🥰
Thanks for another useful review, another question number 3 I think. I can not find out how well insulated the water and heating system is, only a very general comment that the systems(heater boiler etc) are insulated. I have tried autotrail with no response, my current Knaus has a trace heater on waste tank and all other water systems Inc the boiler is inside so I don't have to worry about winter camping. Do you know how the under slung services are protected.
Hi Carl, it's a very good question and something we will try and find out as like you plan to do quite a bit of winter camping in cold climates. The van is level 2 winterised v's the non pop top vlines which are level 3 so should be insulated but I don't know about the tanks themselves and the drain pipes aren't insulated so they would need lagging at least. There was an option of 12v tank heaters but I can't see that any more so we aim to find out and will share soon 😁👍
I would of thought the adventure is basically a V Line in all systems just the pop top moves it from 3 to 2 with the roof up. Would be good to understand.
When I was a kid, we didn't have double glazed windows or central heating and a lot of my friends didn't even have an indoor toilet. My caravan has all of that, why wouldn't I use it all year round. Keep safe Mark & Coral
