Mike has been getting better at controlling those moments when he becomes very emotional I've noticed. He doesn't dwell in the feeling for as long as he used to, moves topic quickly. That's major growth that you gotta respect as a man.

When I was growing up watching Mike box, I wasn't a fan of the person he was even though I admired his raw talent and dedication. Now that he's entered this chapter of his life, and has opened up about being scared and not feeling good enough and it all makes so much more sense after experiencing my own life's obstacles. I have nothing but love and respect for him now. God bless you.

When Tyson was talking about Argüello Snr you can tell he was 100% in the moment. He was transported into a different time and his talk after about his Mum, kids etc was phenomenal. The most content he’s sounded in forever.
Yeah, insane. Watching Mike talk it was amazing to see how much he knew and recalled. A true obsessive of his craft. Beyond impressive.
The mindset of the sport is such a wholesome conversation between these two. This was a very good episode.

Even Tank has mentioned how this is the biggest and toughest opponent in his career....which is low-key disappointing considering the age difference. Most other great boxers experience this type of moment earlier in their career and normally against the more seasoned and established fighter. For example, Canelo taking on Mayweather before 25. Tanks is almost 30.

Ryan's confidence is extremely high. That is a great thing. This won't be an easy fight for Gervonte....he's definitely going to have to show that chin. They both will. I'm just happy that two young champions (in their respective primes) are giving the fans what they want...something very few fighters will do. I hope they spark a trend.....we need to see Spence/Crawford too. We, the fans, deserve it and boxing needs it.

I agree a 100% and that is the exact reason why so most people do not look at Mayweather as the GOAT. Yeah, he went undefeated, but how many fighters did he duck for years & years & years. If you look at any of the actual good tough fighters, he fought they were towards the end of their career coming of a loss or at the very beginning of their career. Like Mike Tyson said its business smart to pick fights & taking minimal damage racking up the wins to ensure a long healthy career while maximizing profit in the long run. However, nobody respects that and you sure as hell cannot bestow upon yourself the GOAT title. That is something the people have to give you. This is the very same thing Lebron James has struggled with. He just doesn't seem to get it, and, in the meantime, he seems to be losing his soul trying too hard to obtain it without just doing the hard work. Jumping from organization to organization that has the best & brightest upcoming future pisses a lot of people off when so many other greats were franchise players grinding it out making the best of it while trying to build a dynasty around themselves. Just my two cents.
