I always wonder why this game never took off. I've looked around at many games, but nothing compares to SMC. I know it's not perfect, but what game is.
"Best solo BR mechas?" Problem with answering this question is the technical folk who say " You can win with any mecha!!!" and they aren't wrong, but have you ever tried to play a Snow Mirage when the bots eat your entire mecha with an SMG right before ace time revealing your position? 😭💥
So starting off with "This is my opinion or personal preferences is right here."
1. Doomlight! Hate Doom or love Doom, a veteran Doomlight can 1v1 your mecha and the 3rd party right after it.🔥However, you have to play smart more than aggressive. Vehicles are your best friend moving from POI to POI (Point of interest) rule #1 NO OFF ZONE BATTLES! rule #2 DON'T build a shield then immediately leave it or fly! (Without a good reason) Best way to play is in zone and in the next zone when possible. Random fact core 1 with 3 turrets on the ground and 3 turrets in your pack is the most damage you can get with a turret. (Even if the module that increases turret damage doesn't work for the turrets on your back)
2. Caramel 🐻When I wanted to be a "Tri-Alpha" (Alpha Knight on all playable servers [JP and KR are technically 1 server with 2 slots]) I played Caramel my entire NA run! Caramel checks all the boxes! Elevation, Fire power, Sniper, Cuteness, and Dur. Only downside is needing to predict the primary weapon's bullet to your opponent, but you will get used to it. Core 1 is the fix for that and is almost always better than core 2, but core 2 makes your tank an easier sniper to use. DON'T play as a tank. Play like a vertical evasive hit and run when in danger. It's amazing. Just started editing my build video for Caramel. In it I 1v1 a Doomlight and it will show the hit and run (I think) however here is a Carmel vs Carmel 1v1 with the #1 ranked solo player at the time

3. Northern knight 🛡Once you master the ins and outs of Northern Knight, and by that I mean knowing when to be in combat and when to pull out, you WILL be unstoppable! The only threat is mechas with high fire rate weapons that eat your shield: Hurricane, Firefox, Dread wolf, and Trio. Besides the slow fire rate and bad long range accuracy (although I don't feel it all the time) I see no downside to this mecha. Core 2 is ALWAYS better. Makes the main bullet go up to the 200s when your shield is broken. (Core 1 is fun, but we live by our primary not our secondary)

Yes, Neutron is a fun little mecha to run around in. Although I would not say I'm "good" at the mecha, it is my only ex appearance 😆 Were you in the match too?

I would suggest recording and posting videos. It's fun, can be a great way to remember fun times with your friends, and more potential pilots will be shown the game. WE will be the advertisement our game has been missing 😎
If Netease really decides to quit the game I hope other companies would buy smc. And make it better, the game could be so much and could possible be the best game with better devs and of course more marketing
I wish there was a way to hear the devs' POV on everything. From the side I know we can speculate, and from the rumors we know they saved the game from being shut down. However, what REALLY has been happening and what have the circumstances been? We may never know😔
Did company left the game or what because it's really amazing but 3 months nothing new
The rumor goes as such, The company NetEase had to cut departments for some reason. SMC was supposed to get shut down, but our devs somehow convinced them to allow them to keep servers open with 1 mecha (Gaia) 1 pilot (Bella) 1 cyber map (yet to be released), and only balance updates for the time being. The game is not officially "dead" we are just out of wind for our sails in the middle of the ocean. IMO that means there is always a chance for us to make a comeback
