i extremely love it when singers and artists are not afraid to show their worn out voice or the imperfections in their singing. it makes me respect them for putting up a stage despite everything. it reminds us that they are humans too and that imperfections can be greatly beautiful.
I love the raspy quality of his raw voice. He doesn't hit every note perfectly but it's still captivating. Maybe it's just cause I'm in love with him, who knows 🤷🏼♀️
That’s a big part of the charm I think. I love this rendition. He’s since become a “better” vocalist, but I still love that he’s laying it all out there even though it’s clear that his voice is worn.
He's also playing the guitar at the same time. Might be easier if it were just chords but he's doing licks that have to be on the right time and the right accents. I tried doing that, but damn the coordination is very challenging
