He's the type of artist that can make you believe every word he sings. Its inspirational. When he sings, you feel all of his emotions. There needs to be more artists out there like this.
I like listening to a lot of musical artists play their songs acoustically, but none of them can make me feel their emotion and excitement like how Max Bermis can.
I seriously sing harmony with this song alone in my room, dreaming that me and him are actually singing together...these songs have always kept me going. I fucking love Say Anything. Nuff said.
This is one of the most genuine performances ever caught on camera. This is back in the days of taking himself probably more seriously than he needed to. I'm sure it made it harder to be around him back then, but it definitely translated in being extremely invested in every song and performance. It's like he's thinking of what every line means to him as he sings them. I could go on lol. It toes the line of a sort of arrogance, but the song is honest and personal enough for that not to bother me. Basically all three of these acoustic performances are beautiful and I would say impossible to recreate now.
theres zero doubt in me he helped foster in me the super sweetheart I became. the makings were there, but songs like these helped shape it as we got older. to stave off the cold lovelessness alot of people come at you with to shut you down.
