If you’re paying attention to college football this year you know a lot of the top teams aren’t running over people, the league is more balanced now due to the portal & the NIL.

I'm bummed we don't get to see Colorado v Washington, because then we'd all be getting to see 1st Round QBs left and right play each other
      Shedeur Sanders (Colorado)
      Bo Nix (Oregon)
      Caleb Williams (USC)
      Michael Penix Jr (Washington)
It's incredible that the year the Pac-12 decides to basically dissolve, it'll produce the most 1st Round QBs, and pull the highest ratings it has in a long time

    • @DayDayTurner-nm2yj

I wouldn't say more balanced at all. Most of the top teams lost all of their seniors that were the top players and some juniors. A lot of top teams have a new quarterback so I wouldn't convict to that theory.

They don’t know TTU had a top 25 offense coming into the season and beat Texas and Oklahoma last year. They don’t know Oregon had 128 yds in penalties that game 3 of which were on 3rd down and led to scores. Oregon kept that game close bc of their own mistakes. They don’t know about 33-1 in Autzen stadium. 21 pt feels right to me esp when CU has no O line and no D line and no rushing attack. This game will hinge on Colorado's ability to run the ball effectively.
    1. I don't think Colorado can shut down Oregon's offense.
    2. Oregon MIGHT be able to slow down Colorado's offense enough to win IF Colorado cannot run the football.
    3. IF Colorado can run the ball effectively, use up clock and keep the ball out of the hands of Oregon's offense, Colorado does have a chance.

@@legionmartin no I think the kid to the game is Oregon likes to run the football and they’re the best in the country at it and have been for years. They have to someone limits running the ball because if Oregon is getting five or 6 yards a clip like usual then they are done for because Oregon has a decent defense and they know how to stop the run and they’re a decent passing defense. So Colorado’s defense will have to do some thing they haven’t been able to do yet and that has been really good on defense to make this a game. Oregon is going to score they’re 35+ points and they do have a Heisman Trophy candidate as a quarterback. There’s a reason why Oregon is favored by 21.

I saw the first televised Pro football game between the New York Giants and the Baltimore Colts in 1958. I even had a Business Association with John Mackey of the Baltimore Colts, and he was a massive man. I saw Ernie Davis play in the Cotton Bowl in 1960 and went to three Bears games in Wrigley Field in 1963 when they won the championship. I just saw the reruns of the Texas Tech-Oregon game. Oregon would have lost if not for a tremendous end-of-the-game defensive play. You have never played in a World Series and won. You have never played in a Super Bowl and won. But you have an opinion of how a winner should act. Colorado is better than Texas Tech. I have a surprise for you: Prime rules, Colorado is winning.

Hawaii and CSU had a difference of 1 game in the standing last year and their head to head was decided by 4 points 17-13 win for CSU at CSU, so they're basically equal to each other. He'll make more NIL money next year. He has a chance for a Heisman, national title and a first-round pick. You only get a few shots at that in college football then it's done.
