Nothing excites me than finishing a song and listening to it
Same here It feels like a weight has been lifted.
I also had ups and downs before of asking myself if i will ever make it in this music industry, i quit many times fortunately I didn't sell my equipment but almost did many times but you know when you know that this gift of music is God given to you, there is this voice that keeps coming back to you to tell you to start and keep going.
I then dedicated myself to studying other artist's tracks that I looked up to,not to copy their work but to study how they arrange their music and how they mix it and I used to just release music for fun and for the sake of releasing it and then I decided to dedicate myself into mixing my songs well and picking the right sounds and doing proper sound design and this paid off because I release music independently and I have labels that I release under and have had royalty checks paid to me.
The moral of the story is if you love music don't quit, master and hone your craft until it sounds professional because nower days its all about quality music, things have changed where we used to just release nonsense.
Wise words.
@XDizzleMusic much appreciated bro!!
I lost my gear and equipment three years back. I aint been cooking in 3 years. Not missing it. But I feel I might do farewell album.
thanks for the encouragement, I was just thinking about giving up
making beats is fun, I'll never stop.
Please show us how U set up for this podcast..... especially the sound & equipment.....the sound on this video is too clean ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks I will share my setup soon.
think that you do what you do not first for the money but for your own soul. And believe me there are outside many people that they will listen your work but you have to getting better and dont stay in the same step. My Words as Label CEO from ELECTRIC FRIENDS MUSIC
Well said!
Thank you so much sir 🔥🙌🏾
I agree with he’s saying I compared what music I do compared to the newer generation it’s almost all the same.Street music it’s ok my fanbase likes different type of music.
To be honest, I've been doing producing since 2014 and l have never thought of quitting/giving up completely. Of course they were doubts especially when you're starting out and doing it independent because you need to work 2wice as hard to build your brand (type of music, marketing, merchandise, money). For me its for on reason and one reason only, FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME.
As corny as it sounds, its always been this way simply because i never saw myself being involved in this space, initially. I always wanted the music to be famous and then the rest will sort itself out. That is the best way to explain it
Hey bro good video. Do you still have the Luxonix Version of Purity ? I finally FINALLY got my License for it. After years.
For the past 10 years ive been taken away from music due to my fulltime job, covid did the most when my company shut down a branch i worked in and had to move to another place where they work differently. I work shifts which means when i get a gig sometimes in weekends im out of leave days and i seem to be unreliable. So i quit the stage. All these years ive been watching videos on TH-cam people creating and having fun and it depressed me a lot coz i couldnt quit my job. I decided i need to bring music to my home coz it eats me up not creating anything.3 Months ago i bought myself a Macbook pro 2015 And its awesome hey ive been using regular heaphones and a borrowed MIDI Keyboard.... ive never felt so happy and now Next week m getting myself the 4th gen 2i2 focusrite studio bundle and then End of January Im hopefully getting myself the yamaha HS5 studio monitors. This means no December for me but i know its worth it. If you quit music It will never stop haunting you.Unless if you have completed your journey...wish you all the best in the year 2025
I have one project I want to drop, I won't until I can go all out with it. Until then I'll just be a security guard or something 🤕
I just do music for me first because others are not making music I want to hear
You can still achieve success the way you want, just not by opening a FL studio daily. You're not 18 anymore. Today, some people are younger and as talented, if not more talented, than you at FL Studio. That said, you have new and even greater talents that can grant you the success you seek.
You're totally right.
The music industry is now different. 100 000 songs are uploaded per day in these music platforms. Music is now easily accessible at even zero cost. Modern young listeners don't have an identity they don't value music, they don't hv music collections they believe in neither do they understand music. If young people could understand how music was valued in previous years, they would start valuing it too. Both young listeners n producers they don't do it for the passion. They do it for fame n to trend.
I still believe in owning physical media and in this day in time, it is still a marketable idea and one that can make us unique. However, doing it in a limited supply can help with memorabilia/merchandise.
I love collecting music on CDs, Vinyl, Cassette (even though they are in a limited supply)
@@creative_soul-recolo you are my man...great points there..nothing is satisfying like sharing your music collection to your friends and family on Braai sunday...these 2Ks dont get that music culture..you would buy your favourite artist album even though it was a miss..because its about THE COLLECTION..to see the musical discography journey of an artist..
3 years now with out making music and I feel like I lost something
wow thats a long time
I was listening to your music on spotify
Thanks for listening!
I've never been this early 🔥🙏🏿
I wish to have you contacts bro the is a lot of information you u can help me with
I’m always looking for people to help join the channel and become a member and I can do that and more for you.
With all these tutortials and goons still can't make a hit?
Just make a hit. Instead of watching a video like this, use this time to make a hit. Stop making excuses.
I actually stop my music production career because, I used it to express my emotions mostly. To keep a long story short. I didnt want to feel them anymore and distanced myself from them. Havent made beat in 4years now
I have 25-30Songs on my laptop
Never been heard by anyone, never been released and never will be
I enjoy making music, but I'm not interested in releasing
Thats great! Now I am more interested to hear your music 😄
@XDizzleMusic 🤣🤣
