    I want to say BRAVO to my fellow Photographer! That video if and when you submit it for some awards is a hands-down slam dunk! With all the new tech and gizmos we have nowadays I finally see a photographer using a drone as the Dolly in the Sky as it was meant to be. Those Images were beyond gorgeous, they were stunning and the music fit perfectly! Having started in Film in 1980 things have changed and you young man put your heart and soul into that video and it shows so my hat is off to you, BRAVO! BTW, you gained a subscriber too.

    This is the best footage I've seen of everyone posting. Thank you!! Love the longer shots of the eruption. Would love to see more of when it starts and stops. Also enjoy see the big chunks going down the lava flow and breaking up. Are the walls cracking and beginning to collapse? I'd love to see that.

  • @mattp1337
    @mattp1337 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Your shots are gorgeously detailed and beautifully composed, and the longer views are appreciated.
    With the rapid evolution of this volcano's cone shape, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see a chronological edit with dates attached (and ideally some kind of scale reference superimposed, though that may be hard even to approximate). I'm grateful to everyone sharing their hard-won footage, it's near impossible to make sense of it all when content creators are posting video an unknown time span after it was taken. It would add a lot of value to some of us.
    Fantastic work, and thank you.

    that's some really good stuff there, the best for me is the video of the crater at 1:12 with the lava lake fully down, i bet that throat narrows down to 1/10th or less the diameter of the lake when it's overflowing at it.s max, you can see at 5:40 when the crust on the lake is displaced by the new material ejected upwards from the narrow throat far below, the velocity of the material going through the throat must be very high to punch through and reach the surface and displace the crust like that. the pressures involved would be immense.

    I love how that crater has a massive cauldron with its own spout.

    I’m not sure what’s more impressive, the footage caught by the drone or that it didn’t melt!

    Absolutely stunning Joey. I have been watching this volcano since day one and it has been amazing to watch it grow. I've also seen probably 90% of the videos from every regularly posting TH-camr and most have been magnificent to watch. But yours are, without a doubt, the most beautiful and surreal, by far. I cant imagine what it would take to make an Imax movie of it, but if some company ever does, they need to hire you to film it. Thank you for capturing the true beauty of this awesome event and sharing it with the world.
