The blue is a marking tool. It is either a counting mark or, and I believe this is more correct, a mark which has to do with has this sheep been bred or not.
The water at 2:#4 is very unnatural. That seems like an accident waiting to happen when a leak happens, with a torrent of water gushing down. I'm curious, why does that exist?
