Still don't know why they not being played on the radio, they are way better than what I hear up to today. I just about stopped listening to country cause it isn't country anymore.

The radio doesn’t play the good stuff. Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Sierra Ferrell, Charlie Robison..

Radio is controlled by corporate country. Once in awhile, one breaks through, Zach Bryan was kind of on the fringe now is huge. I notice Childers is becoming pretty well known. People got a taste with the Oliver Anthony song(I personally don’t think he’s all that great, comparatively).
I watched an interesting video recently comparing how grunge in the 90s took over from the hair bands of the 80s, and how “outlaw” country is slowly replacing bro country of the last decade. We can only hope.

@@ChipLeachproblem is guys like Zach and Tyler and Oliver are folk singers no different than Mumford and sons or the lumineers they're not country. I can't stand the new bro country but I also don't like folk singers being called country. I love traditional country, Jones, Haggard, vern gosdin, Ricky Van Shelton, mark Chesnutt, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, George strait etc that's traditional unchanged through the years pure country.
