    I have a love-hate relationship with Planet Zoo because I’m bad at building realistic zoos 😭 I love the game but my lack of build skills always frustrates the hell out of me. Often I’ll get halfway through a habitat, worked on it for ages, but then I look at it and think “I completely hate this habitat” 😭 The building is all so detailed and customizable, which is amazing but also overwhelming sometimes. Anyway, thanks for the tips, super helpful 😋

    Your content is really good. Please don’t take this as an insult cause I like the choice of music you used for the background. But for my headphones those really high pitches and jingly piano sounds really distracted from your voice and narrations. I’d suggest using something more bass and with less melody also a more subtle or longer loop cause holy cow- it was far to sort and I was noticing it like every 45 seconds of your talk

    How did you make the road and car park it looks amazing

    • @DanXG
      @DanXG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's just plaster pieces to make the basic road and then the plastic shapes to make the road markings.

    Unfair How Planet Zoo youtubers have less subs and Minecraft youtubers have millions of subs. Planet Zoo seems better than minecraft.

    i dont really know how to make paths for example square paths idk how to make them

    • @3lsie_
      @3lsie_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For square paths you need to align to a grid and then click on square edges. If you build a few paths all the same width then align to grid you can quite easily create those paths

    I think the most love hate part of this game is that its like art. Ill make an awesome zoo, have people say its amazing, but then when i revisit it the inner artist in me thinks it looks terrible and wants to do it over again haha

    That's one thing people tend to never do.. use references. I'm always bringing up pics of habitats and buildings. I'll recreate them to an extent and then just add on what I like afterwards. Trying to build from the mind is very tough..

    • @DanXG

    • @yourmotherindisguise

    • @DanXG

      @@yourmotherindisguise each to their own but Its hardly stealing if you’re simply using it to see how something is put together. I’d find it very difficult to get things right without the proper references.

    Thank you for this guide! Bringing up some things many don't mention to think about. It all sounds like it comes down to planning the zoo early.

    I like your videos and the content you present is clearly explained, but ... 4 minutes and 25 seconds to get to the part of the video where you explain how you do something is a little excessive.

    • @DanXG
      @DanXG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Think about how excessive it is to take the time to moan about something you can clearly skip past 😂.

  • @emmaskjoedt
    @emmaskjoedt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I really think this video got some good content, but it is WAY to slow, I am only 6 minutes in (and I skipped the intro) and I lost the focus.. TRYING really hard here.

    • @DanXG
      @DanXG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tbf I was still pretty new to making this sort of video at the time so maybe forgive me for not having ironed out those flaws. All I can suggest is to stick with it and see what you learn, it's more of the sort of video you listen to than have to watch anyway.
