They're electroplated Sunstone. My daughter picked up the exact same multistrand from Michael's! She brought them over and said "Mom I love these, please make me something?" ☺So this is serendipity! Thanks for this perfectly timed tutorial! 🤓

So many things to say... first sorry for the loss of your mom. I lost my father a long time ago when I was 15 and I still miss him, like you said, on certain days more than others. Then I feel for you for the hot flashes. They suck!! I'm done with it now but it was way less fun than being premenstrual and pregnant,lol. And my daughter in law sliced a chunk out of her little finger with one of those mandolin things! Ouch! I have had the worst things happen to me in the kitchen...it's a dangerous place what with tbe hot things and the sharp things. I love all your pieces! I love elephants too! They are everywhere in my room.

If they are the strands that I think they are, they are natural gemstones they just electroplate them with an AB or luster type finish on them. So I am sure the coating is what makes them feel like they aren't as cold as you would think. (hope that helps)
