Idina was already a huge deal when she played Elphaba, but I see what you mean. There’s actually a bunch of people who played both, too, aside from Idina and Caroline. The woman who originated Elsa on Broadway and the Danish, German/Dutch, Korean, and Hebrew voices of Elsa are all Elsabas. It’s really cool, they’re like a whole demographic group at this point. :P
Not sure if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of months =)
you guys will have a german version ?! how lucky ! i didn't know they would make the musical in different languages but may be i got a chance to see it in my country one day 0/
wish I had seen Caroline Innerbichler when I saw the show! Her understudy, Marina Kondo (the main for Iduna) was performing when I saw the show. She absolutely slayed and I loved every second of that performance, but I wish I could've seen both of the main sisters together!
I wish I had one of the shirts from the play. I went this past Saturday. I didn’t get to see any of the gifts at all. It was a navy shirt with white writing with Frozen written on bottom in white
The Hollywood Broadway people weren't helpful with a shirt I liked. I didn't get a chance to see it. I wanted a pic to see it. If anyone is going for the last days keep eyes open for a navy blue shirt in the lobby and take a pic for me. I wanted that shirt bad.
Notice the sour patch kids behind her in her dressing room wall, I've heard they can be quite a marvel to your vocal chords as Billy Porter mentioned in his vlogs but I never took that tip seriously. Caroline Bowman eats it; great assurance right?
I think I can answer that, it could do with her age (or how old she looks) because Elsa is to look around 21 and so that effects the casting process. Also, the actors/actresses must have the ability to sing, dance, travel night after night. That's why most tour cast actors are younger. It's very trying on your body to even act in a full production for a week let alone travel and do it all again. So all these elements and more come into the casting process and ultimately what the directors vision is for how their character should "look". Hope that helps!
Idina started in Wicked - ended up being Elsa
Caroline started in Wicked - ended up being Elsa on Broadway

@Cash Anders definitely, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself =)
@Cash Anders Yea, I've been watching on InstaFlixxer for years myself :)
Wow this Ana and Elsa actually look like their cartoon counterparts! The best I’ve seen so far
I think s o too
0:25 HA! You got "PUNNED!" Her face when she said "l just let it go."
I hope Erika from mean girls gets to play Anna one day
Wait you're onto something...
Wow the new Anna kinda sounds a little like Kristen
To be honest she is better than the Broadway Anna
In my opinion she is better than the Broadway Anna.
Random World I agree I like Cassie Leevy better as Elsa but Caroline I is better then Patti Murin
😀😃😄😁😆😊😌😙😍😍🥰🙂🙃😉😏🥳🤩
Anna is a real life Anna....MIND BLOWN.
I live in Germany and I have to wait about a year to watch the musical...
And I actually like “monster” more than “Let it go”
Es kommt im März 2021nach Hamburg! Du kannst auf Eventim schon Tickets buchen 😍
Same! I can't wait until next year. Until then, i love singing along to this fabulous song, but i'm afraid of the german translation...
I like true love the best i think

Ich komme auch aus Deutschland und will auch nicht so ewig warten, aber ich hoffe, dass die Songs neu übersetzt werden...
I saw this Sunday and it was amazing! I loved Elsa’s vocals and Anna’s character. If you have the chance to see it, you should definitely try to go!
I like the women in the under armour shirt, she didn't underplay her job or the scale of the project.
Elsa is so beautiful she really fits in my personality because it really shows off of who I am as a person from the in and outside of my heart
Both Carolines are cute!
Well, I watched this yesterday and I loved elsas change!!!!
The woman who plays Elsa is gorgeous!
We met them in Seattle! We have their autographs.
Whoa WHAT. Is there like a stagedoor I don’t know about at Paramount Theatre?
1:54 tiny cone for the giant icicles

OMG, I saw Caroline play Elsa when I saw "Frozen the musical" on tour and her singing voice was just mind blowing!!!
I hope my family can scrounge up the money to buy tickets!!! I love this show so much I really want to see it!!!!
STUPENDO!
I wish I had one of the shirts from the play. I went this past Saturday. I didn’t get to see any of the gifts at all. It was a navy shirt with white writing with Frozen written on bottom in white
I want to go again

i think Caissie lived up to the role ngl
Amazing cast! I love Frozen
Me Too! I love Disney's frozen too.
I love frozen too
3:47 AHHHHH MY BIGGEST PET PEEVE! She’s in a musical not a play. No hate it just bothers me 😂
Jack Hodakowski ????

Wow
going this friday!
enjoy! xo
Cool
Glenelg represent!
😍😍😍
Does anyone agree with me when I say the production supervisor sounds alot like China-Ann Mclain because she does to me.
I watch frozen on Broadway in 2018. My parents surprised me with tickets For frozen on Broadway
Now we just need Rachel Tucker to be Elsa and we're all set up.
Wait wait wait, why does the Caroline that plays Anna sound EXACTLY like her movie voice? That caught me so off guard
im sad that I never got to see caissie in frozen broadway. I like her better than caroline.
Cassie levy play her on broadway but she is not any more
this was a little *d i s s a p o i n t i n g*

I will never understand why they didn’t cast Idina Menzel as Elsa in the stage version.

Because Idina didn’t want to.
It is unlikely Idina could carry the role 8 nights a week.
@@princedonovaughn1182 Sure she could! She did the same thing in Wicked!
Rebecca and she was in wicked in 2003-2006 which was 17-14 years ago
