    I know I tell you this every time but I LOVE your videos where you take us with you to harvest and then go straight to the kitchen to show us a dish we can make or what we can do with all the veggies. These are my favorite videos!!! Thank you Sarah!!!

      Yes. I happened to have a harvest of those very large xherry tpmatoes on my counter. Not enough for 13 cups but deffinately enough for 4 cups. They are now waiting to freeze. Thank yoy sarah!

    You’re right. Pizza sauce does have to be thick. I actually found a work around. When I make tomato sauce I dehydrate all the skins, powder them, add dried herbs, and add that powder, as a thickener, for my pizza sauce. It decreases the cooking time to get the sauce as thick as I want, and allows me to make the most use of my tomatoes. Keep those videos coming!

    My mother-in-law only made tomato juice with her cherry tomatoes. It was insanely better than regular tomato juice. She juiced and then canned them.

      And if Sara freeze dried the remaining pulp, I'm sure she could find a use for that too
      OR just feed the remaining pulp to the pigs.

      That’s a fabulous idea, of putting them in the oven like that.. it’s perfect for so many reasons. I may use this method with some of my Romas to make pizza sauce.. may even can it up… Thanks for sharing Sarah, my mind is reeling with ideas… ❤️❤️ hope Kevin’s doing better with his tick bite!🙏🏻🙏🏻

    You are an adorable young lady. Beautiful and wise. The way you light up and find such joy and delight over your mater harvest is about like God feels when we bring forth fruit for Him. Your videos are always a blessing, and I also love the fact that the camera angles make it possible to read each part of your t-shirts before the video is completed. Don't know where you find them, but the messages are a wonderful ministry in and of themselves. I appreciate you. Have a blessed day.

    We are in Springfield Hotel visiting my brother in law and his future (3rd) wife. Catching up on videos when back in our Hotel as we go south to Ozark to his home. We are familiar with this area as he has lived here over 30+ years. Our daughter has been managing our garden for us in Texas while we are gone. Love your t-shirt!! I planted a plethera of tomatoes both cherry and better boys, early girls. Next couple of weeks will be planting for our 2nd growing season. I have a counter full of tomatoes that I have to can when we get home on Tuesday. As we pick the plant can throw more energy back to the others to mature. Our seeds growing show what a miracle and blessing from God we get.

    You hit my heart with this video! The harvest, the beauty, and PIZZA sauce! 🍕😋❤️ Thanks for sharing! Oh, there's a quick way to cut the tomatoes. Use two large container lids that are about the same size. Set one, lip up on the counter. Put as many tomatoes in as possible. Then put the other lid on top, lip down. Hold your palm on top and slice through the middle of the tomatoes.

    • @gelwood99
      @gelwood99 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Easier than that is to hold your hand flat over the tomatoes and hold the knife parallel to the surface of the counter and cut them. Just like butterflying a chicken breast. I prepared veggies at my job for 19 years and there was no time for cutting each cherry tomato individually or sticking them between plates. A steady sure hand is all you need!
