Daniel, thank you for all the informative, fun to watch videos. This is a bit off topic, but do you mind saying what your tripod, head, quick release set up is in this video? Take care, Jon
Thanks Daniel for this short video. It's disappointing to see such a big sensor with such a slow aperture lens. I don't find the interest of switching from full frame with fast zooms that delivers better shallow depth of field then what I see in this outdoor shooting. I mean a full frame + 24-70 f/2,8 will deliver much more appealing results. I'm thinking of switching to medium format but I would like to see much more appealing videos to demonstrate the benefits of this format, essentially for portraits. Thanks anyhow, the 100S and 50S are awesome cameras. It's more about the kit lens that I find not good enough. You enter the world of medium format with an APSC looking images at the end... How does the 80 1.7 and 110 f/2 work in this situation?
I don't understand. Peter Coulson said in one of his Q&A, that the best quality per megapixel is about 24MP, all above is kind fake. For me 50MP is pain in the ass: size of files, cpu needed for editing, slower transfer...
Daniel Do You Not think they dropped the Ball do Putting a 2016 Sensor in it? There are Far better Sensors and Cameras out Now in 2021 for Half the Price?
Daniel can speak for himself, but I am guessing he doesn't really care to give a sh*t about that specs sheet kind of stuff. A lot of people don't. Shouldn't be too hard to find other TH-cam channels that get themselves off thinking about that discussion, though. Just guessing.
Fuji does not know how to take advantage of the advantage it has in the development of medium format, if this camera would have a decent 4k like the Lumix gx85 has, which costs only $ 350 today, they would have a sales record with their cameras. I thought that a moment similar to that of many years ago was going to happen when canon released 5d for everyone and popularized the full frame format. FUJI is being mean but above all it is losing a lot of money, if it continues to sleep soon another competitor will appear and by then it could be in second place. $ 4000 for a camera that does not record 4k on the doors of 2022? What's wrong Fuji ???
@@bodacinema it's not a $ 4000 camera but a $ 4000 MF camera. if 4k is necesary for your job, Fuji has not put this $ 4000 MF camera in the market for you. you should look in the market for another $ 4000 MF camera with 4k video.
Great video !! I purchased a GFX50SII with GF35-70 today ! (here in the UK) I've not received it yet but I have great expectations.
Thanks Daniel, Mia, and assistant.

I am still on my XT2 and even thinking of purchasing Viltrox lenses.....
Thanks from the UK. Love your style and delivery Daniel.
Nice medium format packaging. It looked like a fun shoot. Thanks Daniel, Mia and your assistant.😀👍🇨🇦
do you need to shut off the ibis when on the tripod? Thank you so much for the update.
This is a dope announcement.
Fuji Flim rules supreme now!
Good shop with affordable price !!!
What is the GFX50s' sync speed?
1/125th I think.
haha i love the snark thrown at full frame.
Nice Job!!! Not a Fuji guy but still pretty cool!!
Thanks Group!
Fujifilm GFX 50S II or Sony A7R IV?
Fuji isn’t able to ship 100S they “released” last year, what they released 50S Ii for?
No problem buying one in Germany.

@@djstuc also didier doesnt seem to understand how medium format is different than FF. depth of field is different on a MF.
Hello, late to the game but I fully understand Didier's point. On my side I'm considering using it with a M adapter and fast primes in MF
Keepers! No chance for a Central Park shoot at the moment. Stay safe all 🙏
PS GREAT camera.

Peter who?
If his PC is too slow .... his problem...
Perhaps with slow storage etc. Otherwise the large files are a dream to work with compared to 1/4 of the 102 mp
I like Peter, but what did he mean by fake? A 50 Mpix sensor delivers more detail...
Cool

The only place where I think they failed is by not offering a battery grip option for the GFX100S & GFX50S II.

There us no MF sensor at this price point.
Compairing it with FF or APSC isn't the point.
looks like fujifilm has made leaps over the their last version. Mia is adorable as well
She is a nice model. But some of the photographs has to much light.
First comment :)) love it
