In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content), as well as contact us directly on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864
These materials are also available via channel membership on TH-cam: www.youtube.com/@BarnevognverkstedNo/membership , and BuyMeaCoffee: buymeacoffee.com/thestrollerworkshop

Let me just say. I bought my yoyo in 2012 and I've had the same pram since then for all 5 of my kids. No issues at all. Only changed the seat fabric once. Highly recommend this pram.❤

Thanks for the helpful video! May I ask, why would you recommend the Minu v2 over the Yoyo2 for use with a newborn? (Mentioned at 5:40)

Hello ! Thank you for your informative videos and comparaison, very helpful to see it clear through the stroller jungle !
Could you also make a video comparing the Cybex Easy S 2 plus and the Minu V2 ? That’s the choice we are struggling right now. Thank you ☺️

Question to other parents - how annoying is it gate checking a stroller vs having it on board? Are there significant advantages? First time parent here

If you can not take it on board check it in with your badgage. It is annoying and stressful for you and others waiting behind. It holds true especially if you plan to fly alone. Also at gate no matter how easy it is to fold stroller you will not have time to put it even in simple travel bag so it has more chances to get broken or dirtyed

The proble with gate checking is that you may not get your stroller back until you collect your luggage (no matter what the airline tells you). If the baby is small, you can carry them in a sling. However, older babies around 1 year and toddlers are too heavy to carry them until you get your stroller back. It's especially difficult when you have to walk a long distance in the airport before you pass customs.

Having a carry on size is a #1 for me especially if you plan to fly long hours/abroad. There’s no guarantee that the airline will unload gate checked strollers first, hence it could take forever.

I have a stroller and my child was in his car seat on the plane (yea, more expensive but safer). I NEEDED the stroller right at the gate so that I could put the car seat on the stroller to move around. On most legs of the flights I took (4 flights total), they treated the stroller like a wheelchair, so it was waiting on me when I got out of the plane. On one of the flights, they treated it as luggage, and not only was I one of the last ones out (because I had to wait for clearance and chug my car seat plus baby plus carry on), but turns out they were delivering the stroller apparently to the baggage claim. Someone realized this and when I pointed it out that I was missing my stroller, they set out to get it. They got it for me, but I feel it was being taken to the main luggage area. Like... really?

Our stroller just got destroyed when we gate checked it, so that’s one big disadvantage

I own both - Yoyo is superior with how small it gets and how it handles terrain
