- This video is about my comic book HAUL from the Tri-County Flea Market in Levittown, New York. I visited the Unique Bazaar after comments from viewers had recommended it, so I checked it out. In this video, I show the books I picked up and discuss them. This is my Tri-County Flea Market Haul.

Go to the Chelsea Flea Market on Saturdays there is a vendor named Mark Aron in the alleyway of that outdoor flea who sells vintage comic books. I found great deals from him over the years. The Chelsea Flea is open year round in outdoor parking lot on 25th Street between 5th & 6th Avenue in Manhattan.

@@RockPaperXcissors before the pandemic, i use to go to the Chelsea Flea every weekend. I stopped because in 2020 they opened the Midtown Astoria Outlet near where i live, a 15 minute walk from my house. It makes no sense for me to haul my ass on the subway to go into Manhattan. Nonetheless you will not regret going to the flea to buy comics. Once Mark gets to know you, he will save comic books under his table and wait for you to arrive to buy them!

Storm Watch and Shadowhawk Jim Valentino, nice 90s Image comics goodness. I still have my Shadowhawk #1s same cover as the one you have for over 27 years and the Shadowhawk all black embossed die-cast cover. I personally never liked the Wild Star cover, whenever i see that book at a comic shop or at comic shows i just turn away and pass especially when digging through boxes i just scoff lol.
I think that Doc Savage character was inspired by Adult Swim cartoon character Brock Samson who voiced by Patrick Warburton, the Venture Bros., a Johnny Quest like cartoon.
There's a movie called Assassib Nation an all girls Assassin movie, not sure if it's based on the same comic title. The Ether and Rapture books looks interesting to read.

@@RockPaperXcissors Oh yeah of course in fact that's my first Image comic i picked up in '95 i was 17 years then.
My friend and i used to hand out comicbook shop flyers to people in Manhattan near George Washington square park near West 4th st. And you know what as i went to google maps thinking back it was St. Mark's comics where i bought my first Shadowhawk comics there, after earning some cash for handing out St. Marks comics flyers. And that was 27 years ago wow, my goodness. I can't believe i almost forgot what comic shop it was until i realised it's the famous St. Mark's comics.
When i read the the 2nd or 3rd issue of Shadowhawk, i was shocked of the controversial slur that was in the book which was new to me because as Marvel comics reader that book really threw me off.
That's when i learned a bit more about Image comics later that some of their comic contents are bit adult oriented based to which has some realism in the story rather than what any normal Marvel or DC readers would read but then of course depending on which Image comic titles one will read when not all Image comic titles are not as controversial as some are. But as i have learned later again that both Marvel and DC comics has done some controversial storylines as well before Image comics has.
Do they have Star Wars or gi joe ?
They had Star Wars, but I didn't see any G.I. Joe. I thought you asked this already.
