My wife, Cherry, and I founded a charity called the Hamilton Basket Brigade where we feed and clothe families that are the most in need as identified by the school boards in the city. Cherry is a CPA, so I'm sure she has a handle on all of this already, but it is good for me to know too. Thank you.

Is it possible to put your overall income into charity and get the same amount back in taxes deduction

Nope due to alternate minimal tax and the fact you get tax credit whcih is around 15% of your donated amount
