My biggest gripe about the current g36 with elite is that terrible burst option makes my switch hard to get into semi cause of terrible alignment but this is a very awesome build and there’s someone with more love for the g36 platform than I do
How did you remove the extra material from the barrel extension? Currently stuck at that step haha. Did you just dremel away until it was the size you needed?
Hey there! All I did was used a Dremel to shave the diameter of the barrel to be about 15 mm. It definitely took a long time to get right, but once I shaved off only what I needed, the flash hider slipped on perfectly
Flash hider is not from HK G36KA4, buy the original one from HK, the barrel just sucks, I'll get it for you or make a new barrel, for free!!! give me your email!
@@The.Gear.Locker Hey, I was wondering if the outer barrel is replaceable at all? I tried to find info online whether you could just install an Ares/S&T G36K outer barrel from a conversion kit, but everyone says you can't remove the outer barrel on this newer Ares model? How is the barrel secured? With the typical over-barrel castle nut and some lugs to slide it into the hop up chamber?
@fabi10001 I have seen it done, although it is very tedious. The current barrel is glued into the body and must be removed with the counterclockwise threads. Once you do this, you can use a standard ares barrel once you remove the lug that’s on it.
@@The.Gear.Locker Thanks for the info, much appreciated! So much for my plans on just buying a used Version (in any length) for cheap and converting it... I'll just wait for the K Version to be back in stock then!
Great video dude! This is gonna come in clutch when I build mine!
Good breakdown and looks great ❤❤
Thank you !!
Acetone will take the selector markings off on a cotton bud as long as it's a nylon receiver
I’m sure that could work-Nice suggestion. I hope the video was helpful for your build.

The barrel needs some continued work, I agree. However an original flash hider will not work on an airsoft replica. Thanks though!
