My late brother Garry, his twin brother Terry and I all had experience working at baling hay for local farmers and contractors, sometimes riding the hay rack (wagon) and sometimes stacking the hay bales in the hay mow (barn loft -- "mow" pronounced like "cow"). In this tune, Garry described tongue-in-cheek how the A Part is the fun part. Time to goof off between hay rack arrivals from the field. Each line concludes with a rollicking belly laugh. Then the tractor arrives with the hay rack and the boys on the rack start throwing hay bales onto the motorized "hiker" chute that carries the bales up to the hay mow doors and it gets purty danged busy, as per the B Part.
