After learning to change my plucking attack, I’ve grown to love the little Guild. Woody and warm. Classical guitar or violin experience is useful, as vibrato sounds better in line with the string rather than side to side. La Bella CB40 BE strings help, as they have a touch more tension. Next experiment will be the new Pyramid Gold GS flats designed for these basses.

Those flats might be just what that little bass needs. I bought this one to flip. I just picked up a Kala UBass while on a mini tour in Hawaii and it sounds so great that it’s replaced my upright for these gigs, which of course I couldn’t bring for obvious reasons.

Nice selection of exercises to showcase this impressive Guitar.

I bought one of these while on a road trip vacation because I didn't bring any of my guitars or bass with me. Bought mine at a small guitar shop in St. George, Utah. I love it but I'm 6'6" and it's kinda small despite being so easy to play and practice with. I'm having a hard time playing the low E string because it sounds so buzzy. Fun instrument to say the least. And convenient and it's unique given that it's a bass, yet so small and has great tone.

@@420Bassist I'm sure that buzzy string is fixable. It's kinda tricky though, because the scale is so short.
