Just finished watching the walkthrough of the mod this cover is based off, and I gotta say. This hits even harder when you know what's going on. Also, I love the little smile Sayori gives at the end of the song. It's what her friends would've wanted from her. To see her smile.
At the end of the song Sayori laying down on her bed... Alone and feeling lonely after mc her dearest childhood friend is gone... And when she smile... She's trying to make a dream where she can meet mc and natsuki again even it's just... Happy thought... Happy thought..
Sayori looking at the abysm and the Natsuki ghost appearance... makes it looks like a bygone purpose one, oh, where are my manners, good cover bro, you got these damn chromatics
It was never Sayori's fault that her immaturity as an MC and her personality as......... in the mod, made her not pay attention to Sayori, knowing her feelings about her. 😢 but then I think about the sky blue mod and I forget how bad this mod is( exit music redux). and it passes me .😂
Amazing work, as is the cover of Bygone Purpose. For me, a person who really loves Natsuki and EM, these are some of the best covers that made me really cry.
I don't think so.... The way I interpreted the story for what it seen. Natsuki died, MC(the protagonist) commited suicide, at such sayori was devastated and wanted to join them... That why at the beginning of the song she was standing at the edge of a bridge... Natsuki's ghost appears and sing... What I can imagine some words to sayori to not do it... The next scene is now sayori walking home, not actually jumping... But still sad, natsuki still there, singing, trying to give sayori courage to keep living. Actually near the end of the walking to home sequence you can hear another voice singing along side sayori, a voice that doesn't belong to natsuki or sayori, given the possibility it can only be MC singing. After that, sayori arrives home... This wasn't a dream, she just went to bed, to forget the fact of what she tried to do, and everything that happened. Near the end of the song sayori smiles. Because even if it is sad, this is what her friends would had wanted, for her to be safe, smile and to see another day.

This mod is simply the best, it destroys you from the inside, no other, Sayori, MC and Natsuki are the best characters, that's what I feel most sorry for in this mod.
There's definitely another voice singing there. I don't know if it sounds similar to his voice... But given the context and that in the original song that is where mario sang to Luigi I suppose that's its his voice
@@frangolles it is mario voice. I think it could be replaced in the future with mc and sayori singing that part with different lyrics but idk if the creators of the mod would do that. The only thing i know is that in the V4 of DDTO sings for you desolated does not have the lyrics of mario and luigi anymore
