Great video, I love that you explained and presented your real use cases not just features themselves. Inspired me to do something similar. Thank you!

Great Video and GREAT plugin!!!! One request... could you have the option to display the results in a scrollable window? (Like what the Query Control plugin does). Too often my results are very long. Just a thought.

I'm happy to have come across your helpful video with easy-to-follow ideas for tag use and capture simplification. Thank you. I don't mind bouncing back and forth between Reading Mode and Preview Mode, though I wonder if there's something about Tag Buddy that requires it?

Thanks for the comment. Originally the idea was to help you maintain flow in reading mode. I didn't want to switch modes just to add/edit/remove a tag in my tag inboxes. Tags are super easy to add/remove/edit in edit mode and I didn't want to mess with that interaction. But I'd be curious about any specific use-cases where these functionalities would be better in edit mode :)

Great video, thanks. Tag Buddy looks very promising. I understand it only operates in Reading Mode. I spend all my time in Preview mode, where it doesn't seem to work. Are you likely to extend the operation in the future?

It works in reading/preview mode. But tag inboxes also work in edit mode too. The reason I'm not looking to add the tag function to edit mode is because Obsidian already makes it easy to add and remove tags that way. But I'm curious if you have a particular use case I can investigate. Lmk.

@@blankogotsacked Every time I ctrl or alt click a tag, it asks to create a tag page. If I disable Tag Wrangler, ctrl click opens search and alt click does nothing. 🧐

@@mzantsi You're correct, Tag Wrangler uses the same shortcuts. I'll be adding other shortcut options for Tag Buddy in next update. But for now, you'll have to decide between TW and TB. I'm obviously biased for TB for my specific workflow. That said, TB shortcuts SHOULD work when disabling Tag Wrangler. Can you confirm you're in reading mode? TB functions only work in reading mode (add/remove/edit) because edit mode already makes it easy to do those things. But if it's still not working, let's take this to github. Can you open an issue there? Share any additional info that might help diagnose. Maybe the note where it's not working? Or a list of your other plugins... We'll get to the bottom of this :)
