- I have all the robot jones episodes ones with the original voice and ones with the Bobby block voices people have already uploaded the episodes to TH-cam but I also wanted to upload the episodes to keep this media from being lost if I get a copyright then TH-cam obviously hates me

I always loved how this show came out in the early 2000s but had a 70s animation style.
Cuz that’s probably where it all started for them back in the 70’s as a child
I remember seeing a deviantart post of the creator of Robot Jones answering that "what really did happened to Robot Jones?" and he replied saying "He stoned at the parking lot".

It's a parody of a '70s sketch show (You Can't Do That On Television) that did the exact same. They even named that character "Schitler".
You know, there's something very novel about hearing a genuine text to speech voice being used in an actual animated series on TV. Especially after hearing so much text to speech on the internet only. I kind of wish they kept the text to speech voice.
The protagonist is surprisingly endearing.
I had no idea Steven Hawking had a voice acting career.
I think in some cases the robotic voice works better than the human voice. The emotion the voice actor gives some moments is good tho. like the p.u. to p.e. wake up screech

What's wrong with the new voice
Nothings wrong with it but it defeats the purpose of the character. It's about a robot going to school and at first the voice was from a Mac digital vocal. Then the new one was changed directly to a version that just sounded like an average kid. You see what I'm getting at ?

Right this is 😂 and I’m on the spectrum myself and literally can’t get a date. Almost 30 years old and no first kiss. They made some more shows with robots like this towards the future like Robot Boy and MLAATR that further studies that topic of autism and fitting in

We can argue all day about what this show could’ve done better, but that’s cause it was good(if not great) but wasn’t given a fair shake on cn during its original run

The even funnier thing is that the artstyle of MLAATR is often compared to old Cartoon Network shows while Robot Jones’ is more scratchy and crude like most Nickelodeon shows.
The Creator of Teenage Robot was involved with this show too

Why CN disliked his original voice? It was much better than the voice actor in season 2
I absolutley loved the original Robot Jones voice more because it fits more for the character.... Since he's a robot. Also, this show really needs more attention. Like I LOVE this show dude!

Bobby Block had way too much emotion for this role. They drastically downgraded Robot's voice to sound like a watered down American version of Finkman.

This just blew my mind. I never saw this when he had the text to speech voice. I got on board when he had the voice change. I like the voice change better because that’s what I grew up on. And it sounds more like a kids show that way.

2:54 from an actual "middle schoolers" view from this ( I'm going to grade 9), this problem seems impossible. First, simplifying 8.144/5 would make it 26.88. but still after that, we don't know what Y is so there's nothing else to do. The only way that I could maybe finish it would be if it had an equal sign after everything, with an answer at the end. From what I did, all the problem is now is

Please correct me if I'm wrong. But even though I can't get it, the humans who are getting assigned with this problem are also in middle school too which doesn't make much sense to give them a problem like this.

I wouldn't blame the voice or style for why this show did so poorly.
Keep in mind this was during a time when CN wanted to stray away from Hanna Barbara and create their own style. Only so many shows could be on the channel, so CN spent their time and marketing on other shows that could appeal to a lot more people. If this was during the era when the internet was popularized like it is now, at best Robot Jones would have an internet series, and if people loved it, maybe something on a streaming service.
But it wasn't about if people liked it, it was the networks decision. We were lucky enough to have it see the light of day. Creativity always wins in the long term, people still search this show up even after all these years.

It actually used tts Fred Junior voice and they chose it to give robot Jones a more robotic voice but cartoon network and their pettiness decided that the voice was not good enough and decided to get Bobby block to voice him and re dub the other episodes and I'm gonna be honest his robot Jones voice is hot garbage it doesn't even fit well at all with robot Jones in the slightest

Why on god's green earth do you think Bobby blocks voice is better then the tts voice you oughta be out of your mind the bobby block voice doesn't really fit well with robot Jones like at all I wasn't trying to be rude or anything but I think your just not used to tts voices and I don't think most people agree that the Bobby voice is better then the tts given that the tts voice is technically the most sought after voice for robot Jones it sounds more robotic but the bobby block voice sound more human and has kind of a robot voice but in My opinion the Original voice is Way Better then the bobby block voice
