The manager is clueless we bought the best striker in the championship and he benches him we have the worst striker in the premier League and the championship and he is the first name on the team sheet if something is not working change it instead of leaving it too late like he has yet another season in the championship

@@TheGeneral_LUFC There's some sort of a golden handshake. I don't think it's dirt, but there's something uncanny about it all. Could it be something contractual? Even the commentators are asking the same question: why is he sticking with Bamford when he's clearly not playing well? They were wondering why Piroe was still on the bench so late.
@@steelyman08 I think his contract details may include a minimum amount of games he has to start if he's fit, so if he has to start then he can be subbed right?

They never stood a chance to have any impact on the game whatsoever. Perhaps he was dreaming of another 3 mins of extra time? It still makes no sense when you're looking for a win in a game that's stalled out by half time. They should have all come on with Gnonto (and earlier ~ 60th minute, or so). He's done quite a bit of this in crunch games that we ought to be winning. Fans will point to our excellent run. And It was just that ~ excellent. That's what makes our last 4 matches seem so bizarre (five points out of 12 with a lucky win over Hull). I think the pressure has got to him & he's terrified to change his team & tactics. It's that or he's just proud & stubborn. His pre-match interview reeks of defiance. He was defending Bamford, but it didn't add up to more than the ground he covers in a game. He was alluding to Joseph as one of the young academy lads who shouldn't have such pressure placed on their shoulders. I think mistakes were made with Gelhardt in that very way & he could never meet the expectations put on him. But Joseph (like Gray) does not appear phased at all when he's given enough time to get stuck in. He seems pretty consistent & his temperament is not wild like Gnonto's was in his early days. And if you're worried about that, why is the experienced Piroe arriving on the field in the 82nd minute? It's poor management in a home game in which we had 70% possession & one shot on target. 618 passes & 13 poorly taken corners?? Perhaps it's the manager's attitude that's getting to the players?
@@steelyman08 Nailed on, in game management has been poor, players look like they think the campaign is over, and no hunger, unlike Gelhardt, Joeph is a spanish international who plays in the team very often, I don't know what this love in with BumFluff is, last year Allardice kept advocating Gnonto to be used only when he arrives he wouldn't play him, Archie is 18 and plays but a very good striker can't get a game who in my opinion offers more and is hungrier, This is on Farke! plays offs yes but promotion no. Now you know why many of our youngster never make it and remain frozen out because of people like BumFluff, the whole setup is not fit for purpose!
@BennyHolden-ls7sj Spot on. I'm glad to hear this because any true Leeds fan is bewildered & seriously concerned by this right when we don't need it. Let's just hope he somehow scrapes through, but it's looking bleak as things stand. He simply will not budge. If we fail to go up, the losses will be dramatic. Just got to hope & pray at this point. If we’re so fatigued why isn’t Joseph starting. The likes of Bamford have time to study the opposition if needed. I’m trying to hold back from criticism (especially the old guard) as we’ve done so so well. Well beyond what I expected. But alas Farke deserves respect for where we are so I’ll stay quiet.
Positives, ER still a fortress, clean sheet and a point. Negatives for me are we should have capitalised on Ipswich losing last week and Leicester losing yesterday but we failed to do so. Farke should be rotating the squad to keep them fresh, subs coming on too late to make a big impact on the game. If plan A is not working then you should have a plan B in place, mix things up to keep other managers guessing as we are becoming too predictable both in our line up and play. What I want for us is automatic promotion not play offs. Lets get out of 3rd gear get back in to top gear, and win our remaining 4 games. MOT

We should be beating teams like Sunderland. We are playing Blackburn next who thrashed them away recently.
How much do you want to rely on other teams losing - and for how long? These are golden chances and Farke refuses to change his "plan". I'm watching other managers outsmarting him game after game. They make the right changes on time. Farke just won't budge. Only Brings Gnonto on when we needed 3 new players on. Waited until way too late & then had a fit because we only got 3 mins extra time. He's just too conservative & we're not able to take advantage of other teams dropping points.
People used to accuse Bielsa of refusing to change his plan but he would change things all the time. Farke seems to stick with things for far too long. He ignored Bamford then he came in and started scoring and he ignores Pirore. He played James and ignored Gnonto then Gnonto comes in and does well and James is left out. Then Gnonto is out and James is back in and then we stop seeing Gnonto. He doesn't tailor it to games or change things to freshen it up. Conor Roberts has looked good but he hardly plays him. We are so boring to watch.
@@clivet3252 It was probably the most boring of the lot today. I even fell short by assuming that he'd bring on 2 by the 70th minute considering the position we were in. I am convinced that he held Joseph back & kept Bamford on longer today out of sheer pride. His pre-match ramble showed that he was aware that many fans wanted to see these changes made. He made it clear that he was not going to budge. He even held Piroe & Joseph back longer than usual today. They were essentially useless subs. Gnonto had the best shot of the match & changed the game to some degree. The late show nearly happened, but didn't. Farke was mad about the extra time scenario. I feel that he believes in these late shows for some odd reason. It backfired today ~ again. And it will be Bamford starting in the next match as well. You're right about Bielsa. He was more proactive, but his EPL squad was way too small. Farke may well blow the auto promotion for Leeds (if he hasn't already). He's a super conservative, very proud man who doesn't take advice from anyone. He will never be a decent EPL coach. I think he's a middling coach even for the Championship. I've watched too many other managers checkmate his game plan successfully. This squad that he has is very decent & he's not using it correctly or rotating players, etc. Now we're counting on other teams failing. We could win our remaining matches, but not if he sticks with his tactics. I don't see him changing. If he was at least trying to be more like Bielsa in attack mode, then he could be forgiven. But we've been the same for 4 matches now & dropped 7 points as a result. I don't see this changing.

A point is a good result, it may not be the result we wanted but we didn't lose, and we kept another cleansheet.
Let's hope fatigue has not taken its toll on the squad, and the lad's have enough left in the tank to make a final push for the remaining games of the season 💛💙

Official s were diabolical last night, Ballard should a been sent off in 1st half,(hope I've got name right.) & everyone knows, we were denied 2 deffo pens. Cheats or what???.

A draw stemned the tide, a win on Saturday get back to winning ways with the three games left thereafter, points will be dropped elsewhere before the end of the season as tonight with Leicester at Millwall.

We've looked far too ordinary against ordinary teams too often this season. We should be blowing teams away with the attack we have. Bielsa's tactics and formation would see us punish teams more.
