Indisputable Proof The Drug War Is An Absolute Failure!

  • In a recent article about the arrest of two top members of Mexican drug cartels, the New York Times slipped in a rather startling admission. Specifically, the article noted, these high-profile arrests will do little to nothing to stem the flow of drugs from Mexico into the United States, but will likely foment more violence as power struggles ensue to determine who will take the arrested leaders’ places.
Jimmy points out what a collosal failure the drug war has been - or at least it would be if the objective were really to reduce drugs and crime, that is.

Combine that with our soft on drug crime policies in California, Oregon, and other states and you have a recipe for a disaster. We also have an impoverished Mexico with corrupt politicians who work with cartels. If Mexico was fixed, we wouldn't have this problem. I was shocked to find that the producers of the movie thought they were retelling a great story of a successful drug bust?!? Its brilliance isn't at all what they intended, lol
