How do I make it so that the canvas always changes to fit an image automatically whenever I drag and drop a new image? I am using the newer PS now, but back in CS4, I could just drag and drop a larger image into a smaller canvas, and the canvas would stretch automatically. Now, if I drag a large image into PS and I have a smaller canvas, the image will just show what's exactly in the canvas area and nothing else. I know I can set it to resize automatically, but that reshapes the image to fit the canvas instead of the other way around.

Thanks for this video, unfortunately confirming my suspicion: Adobe managed to make every single one of these options half-assed and cumbersome, not to say useless: The crop tool cuts off everything outside the visible area. The one in the sidebar does not allow setting an anchor point. The one from the menu does not allow proportional scaling. Dear Adobe: IS THIS SO HARD???

Mine does not just let me pull out a side with crop. It is locked into a ratio and I can not figure out how to stop it.
