Sure. Save the file to OneDrive. Share a link. You decide whether it is read-only or editable. If Search is required, use the Filter() function. It will give instant and fast search results. Usually you will need choosecols() and sort() functions as well to select columns and sort order of the search results.
Hello Sir, Good video!! I'm new to sway and i've given a task of creating a newsletter depicting our traditional newspaper with page 1 being in landscape mode showing the most important information followed by a page where we have content in vertical columns with corresponding images. Is it possible to do it in sway?

But I think what you need is Word or a similar app - which understands pages and columns layouts. BIG DRAWBACK for Sway: it does not link to an M365 Group. It is linked to your account so if someone leaves their job, the Sway goes. The IT dept can transfer ownership, if it's requested before the account content is auto-deleted 30 days after the account is deleted. So if you're producing content as part of a team of people you really need to be quite rigorous about documenting your 'official' Sways and who the original author is, otherwise you risk losing half your catalogue when someone leaves, dies or retires. Because that relies on housekeeping disciplines you can't assume every individual will remember to follow, let alone guarantee someone will remember to invoke in time after a staffing change, I advocate Sway for our users as *fantastic* for engaging temporary-comms or point-in-time comms (a seasonal themed Sway reminding users of things to do before they go on leave over mid winter is super for catching attention and keeping the tone light, for instance) - NOT for standing documents/web pages.

Externally we don't have much need but when we do we tend to use the company website, whilst pushing for the ability to share our SharePoint site externally instead! We also use Microsoft bookings for external facing contact points and appointment bookings.
If you were a sales type you could absolutely all just have your own sway as a company brochure: you can duplicate a sway that's shared with you for collaboration. Then you could edit any section with your contact details on whilst keeping the rest the same. Bit of a pain when the company brochures change cos everyone has to recopy and edit, but it would let you use it in a slightly more controlled way with less risk of orphaning key customer facing content.

Hi Janine You can use Sway as shown in the video. Which users can create Sway is something that your organizational needs will decide. Microsoft Pages is the only other alternative within Microsoft platform.

Save the file to OneDrive. Share a link. You decide whether it is read-only or editable.
